I was referring to Angel from buffy, and again, it was just a joke.

Honestly, I'm sure what to think of this episode.

I'll have to watch it again to see.

Interesting to note Newtralizer said there are 10 dimensions. I wonder if that was just a throwaway line or if its actually important.
so 10 dimensions = ?
1. Dimension X
2. 2k12 world
3. 80s world
4. 2k3 world?
5. classic comic book world?
6. Usagi Yo-wait Sakai didn't want to : (
7. Fugitoid's?
8. wherever the battle nexus took place?
9. your guess is as good as mine
10.???

Well we know 3/10 supposed dimensions.

I wonder why Newtralizer says Rocka rocka rocka a lot. Also how a terminator 2 homage with a new good guy cockroach terminator would play?

Does anyone else see the obvious parallels between Newt and Leatherhead? Newt is what LH might've became if Mikey didn't find him. And I actually do think He cared for Slash behind his insanity (he's pretty much a well intentioned extremist and not fully evil) but nice to see Slash has underwent a heel-face turn though...

I knew this episode would rocka rocka rocka

Great to have fences mended between Raph and Slash. I was wondering when we were going to see that.

So after Metalhead Rewired, did Slash get re-captured by the Kraang to be freed by Newt or could this have happened immediatley following the skirmish at the Kraang prison in MHR? Did we see Slash leaving along with all the other mutants in said episode? If so, I guess Slash just can't stay out of jail. lol

That rocka rocka thing reminded me of Fozzie too. I wonder if Newt is a muppets fan. In all seriousness, it sounds more like some tribal chant. I can see a tun of his species cheering this while going into battle against the Kraang. Loving the Newtralizer after having seen this episode. His translator definitely gives him more personality.

Did anyone notice that Star Wars Slave I cannon sound while the guys were battling the Kraang in act 3? Pretty sure that was taken straight from Jango's pride and joy in Attack of The Clones. Not sure which gun that came from, but I heard it at least twice. May have been the Kraang weapon.

Loved Don's correcting Mikey pertaining to who really named the Newtralizer. "Actually, I named him." haha Mikey's mimicry got a chuckle out of me. And loving the ICK cameo. He's such a helpful little guy. Since cats sleep around 15 or so hrs a day, he must be doing quite alright in that fridge.

My favorite quote has to be,"Stupid Kraang." Liked the "awesome" bit as well, but love it when the Kraang get frustrated with each other. Now if only Kraang Prime would return. Bigbrain is certainly going to have a bone to pick with Newt and Slash after this debacle.

This was a pretty good episode, but not one of my favorites. Mikey and the Kraang had some pretty funny lines and I loved the ICK cameo, but I've got to say my favorite part was when Donatello was slow-motion fighting with Slash and put the spy-roach on him right before being brutally punched in the face. That must have hurt bad.
I like Slash better as an antagonist but I'm okay with him on the turtles' side now. To me, it just felt a bit rushed the way he befriended Raphael again.
Overall: 7/10

This interesting moving forward, being Slash is somewhat familiar with the Kraang Technology, I'm wondering if this mentioned episode when Raph gets possessed by a Kraang, if the others may need Slash's to help him?

The flashback made no sense..... Newt rescued Slash from the Kraang.... so... did the Kraang re-capture them both before the episode we saw? Or was Slash re-captured by the Kraang after he got away before the episode we saw?

I'd say the latter, because remember what the people on the show stated, despite what it may have looked like in "Metalhead Rewired", Newtralizer was not suppose to be one of the captives of the Kraang in that episode.

I think it was close to as good as last week, i guess it depends on if you prefer a kraang centric or shredder & henchmen centric episode. While Lonely Mutation had a new transformation/charater, Newtralized expanded on newtralizer a ton more because he didn't speak in his debut episode.

It's interesting to me to see the gradation in the lengths some characters will go to fight the Kraang. The turtles, Slash and Newtralizer all have their own POV on how to go about it. I liked that about this episode.

Glad they addressed Casey's inexperience. There is no way he is on par with the turtles in being able to take on all these ninjas and aliens. Heck even April has had some formal trailing from Splinter (granted they really sped up her progression)... Casey is a tough kid but he has a lot to learn. I hope they continue to develop that.

When foes team up it always makes for a fun episode so definitely liked that. Kinda a shame that it didn't last longer, but it made for a pretty good arc in the ep.

A few of my highlights:
- lots of casey and raph interaction. love seeing them two on their own out fighting crime.
- "the kraang is getting their kraangs handed to them"
- don's headpiece, cool tech!
- leo detective work in the sewer. While Don may technically be the smart one, I feel detective fits Leo way better. Kind of reminds me of Obi Wan from Episode II a little, going around investigating clues. I want to see more of Leo doing stuff like that!
- anytime spike or newtralizer are fighting it just looks SO COOL. I thought Raph really shined here too, he got a lot of great fight sequences. Definitely a 'Raph' centric episode, one of the strongest for him too.
- loved the flashback of newt/slash meeting, very cool. newt's voice sounds great too
- when newt is examining the kraang plans... that panel that comes out of his arm, really cool looking design on that
- that kraang machine, wouldn't be surprised if we see another of those
- they re-used the dock set! was wondering when they'd go back there
- cockroack spy returns! foreshadowing... a 2nd roach mutation in the future?

If I had one complaint to make it would be that, while newtralizer has a cool voice and look to him, a part of me prefers that mysteriousness he had from his debut episode, he just felt more badass there. Like a means-business kind of bounty hunter. He almost seems like a different character now. "rackarackaracka!" (I'm sure that will be a hit with the kids! buzzbuzz!)

8 out of 10 for me

I think its kind funny how the Kraang fail 90% of their missions yet apparently the Turtles still can't bring them all down for good.

Does this show want me to hate Raphael? Cause this is how you get me to hate Raphael.

Anyway, good episode overall! Even though this episode made me dislike Raphael for being such an a$$hole to Casey, it was cool overall. I liked seeing
Spoiler:
Slash actually helping the turtles
, the final fight at the end was cool, and this is minor, but I liked Slash actually calling Donatello, "Donatello", it seems like everyone refers to the turtles as their shortened names (Leo, Mikey, Donnie, Raph) I can't even remember the last time their full names were said, even though it was just Donatello.

I give this episode a 7.5/10
