Official Episode Discussion S2 #17 "Newtralized!"

Okay, so it's been an Extremely busy couple of weeks - but we got a new episode coming up in just a couple hours, so let's get started here, shall we?

So, the city is full of mutants and they're catching wind of just who caused their changes. And some aren't hiding in the shadows anymore...

Not that they're teaming up with the turtles against a common enemy. None of this "enemy of my enemy is my friend" nonsense. With hair-trigger tempers and big weapons, to paraphrase Shakespeare, Revenge acquaints a man with some Really Strange bedfellows...

WILL THE NEUTRALIZER REVEAL MORE ABOUT HIS PAST?!
WILL RAPHAEL AND SLASH MAKE AMENDS FOR THEIR PAST AGGRESSIONS?!
WILL I STAY AWake Long enough to finish this thre....

Was a good episode, although it felt rather filler-ish. Nice to see Newtralizer and Slash back anyway.

Casey and Raph have their usual falling out moment.

Interesting to note Newtralizer said there are 10 dimensions. I wonder if that was just a throwaway line or if its actually important.

To me it was just an ok episode. Not as good as last week's, but it was cool to see Slash again. Funniest moment: Don putting the spyroach on Slash and giving him a thumbs up before getting punched in the face in slow motion

I did like the callbacks to "Wormquake!" "Mutagen Man Unleashed" "Operation: Breakout" and "Slash and Destroy".

Uh...no. I don't see what much of a show would be about other than Slash fighting random things.

It was a good episode it had lot's of fighting and action but sadly it's not in my top 5 but still in my top 10.

Kraang's New weapon looked similar to Krang's new weapon from the 80s episode Turtles on Trial.
Doesn't look like Newtralizer isn't going to be the turtles allie, We had a little bit of his backstory, he's insane and wants revenge against the Kraang because he was imprisioned and tortured (this is a kids show right) and he doesn't care who gets hurt.
Slash still got some good in him, Newtralizer just used him. He was concerned about the humans getting hurt, which shows he does care.
Slash decided to go solo which got Raph sad was a little heartbreaking.

Good moments
Cowabunga skate shop
Leo going alone while the others team up, which looks like Leo can look after himself (for now!).
The atmosphere when Leo is in the tunnels is so well-handled - it’s creepy and foreboding,
Raph vs Slash part 2 was short but was cool (did Raph pop his rib cage back in)
ICK Cameo - he seems to know what everyone wants from the freezer, he must have got good hearing.
Donnie saying to Mikey to stop eating the Kraang locations - Pac Man reference
The flashback - which explained how Slash and The Newtralizer met
Donnie got a new spy roach and was another flashback seeing how Donnie got the spy roach on to Slash.
Donnie's punch to the face in Slow mo looked brutal.
Donnie must have a army of spy roaches as it said spy roach 3 online on his T phone
Raph vs The Newtralizer was epic
Raph saving Slash's life
Casey saving the day

Funny moments
Mikey immatating the Kraang using it's head and Donnie facepalming using a Kraang hand
Mikey mimicking Donnie because Donnie reminded Mikey that he named the Newtralizer
Newtralizer sounded like a dolphin and trying to get his translator to work.
Donnie and Leo rolling their eyes when Casey said he invited himself
Kraang giving the thumbs up
Kraang Quote - 'This is what known as awesome' and 'Watch out for Kraang, Stupid Kraang' and 'Go to the direction known as this way'.
Newtralizer Quote - 'Rokka, Rokka, Rokka' I guess is a reference to Fozzie Bear from The Muppets who says 'Wacka, Wacka, Wacka'

I actually liked this one a bit more then last weeks. Slash was great, Newt was great, ICK was great, pretty much everything was great.

I loooooooooooved all those references to past episodes.

Does anyone recognize that from somewhere?

Wait, when did she get her own show? She barely even showed up on 2K3 as it is.

I know, I wasn't being serious. I would however like to see more of him and Newtralizer (not together) to break away from just fighting the kraang.
