I doubt it, they would be CGI if they were and you wouldn't need couple of people chasing her during filming.

Not for robots, it be the same sort of CGI they use for the Transformers ect. You only need people to wear Mocap suits for turtles or characters from other movies like Golem from LOTR or the head monkey (forgot his name) from Planet of the Apes movies ect.

Anyway looking at the picture they arn't wearing mocap suits, they are just wearing normal ninja clothing.

That's exactly where every director has been before.

People wear mocap suits for human size robots not for giant robots. By the way I think their ninja attire is a little too simplistic, not "stylized" enough. It is obviously better than the commando outfit and the transparent mask of the first movie.

Wow, a actor for Casey I like, a new actor for Shredder which I also like. And now maybe some actual ninjas*. This is actually intruiging, and not hard to explain in-universe, as it was shown that the Foot was in a rough spot in the first movie, they might have upped their end game to deal with the Turtles.

*pop-culture ninja, and not actual Shinobi of course.

Just remember, the first film also had a ton of real ninja stuff.

It was cut out. All of it. The fights, the hara-kiri scene, literally an entire real, ninja-like faction of The Foot was taken out of the movie.

Yes, every Transformer was mo-capped by a giant, and Gollum was mo-capped by a little person. Mo-cap means MOTION CAPTURE...not size capture.

. What exactly can't you wrap your mind around? From Chris Nolan to Steven Spielberg, every single director started out that way, with very little under their belt. Doesn't mean anybody else in that position should be counted out. Come on now, use your head

Yes it's true, I think you just misinterpreted what I said, maybe I was not clear.

Yes indeed but my point is : How do we know he is competent or not ? We don't. We just have faith. It's his first blockbuster aswell, maybe he is better on a smaller budget movie. Time will tell. I think we can share our views without aggressivity.

I have faith in this movie since the first one. May this one also be grander and more spectacular.

Foot ninjas yay!

And we know the haters will flock the movie theaters anyway, so win-win situation!

I am starting to have more faith in this. Who knows, maybe TMNT 2 will be awesome. I certainly want this to be the case, and feel more optimistic than probably a lot of the other negative guys and gals here. But I'm still worried.

Pros: Ninjas possibly?
Baxter Stockman, lookin' good
Bebop & Rocksteady
Shredder?

Cons: Platinum Dunes
The 2014 movie
Michael Bay

It could still go either way...
