It's okay, Bitsy. I can understand why you would think that mutant is Mona. But I think it will probably just be some random mutant they fight and may not see again. I know everyone wants Mona to show up, but you have to remember that it may not be the case.

Making Mona an alien was something that crossed my mind a while ago, given Newtralizer's existence and somewhat similar kind of critter. Dunno if that cover pic really would say Mona Lisa to me, but no reason she can't be some other character involved in the same story somewhere along the way. Maybe she's a slightly different lizard race or a different faction who are the good guys with the Turtles. Or she defects from the ranks of the bad guys.

Yes, very true. Many were speculating that she was affiliated with the Kraang or that she was April's mom, but having her be part of Newtralizer's race would definitely make sense.

I'm okay with it because her design isn't in any way furbaity. At least it's actual Mona fans being appeased rather than the ones who wanna nail scales.

Have to say I'm a little surprised it really is happening, wasn't sure they'd ever actually do it, but glad to see they decided to go ahead and pick up this character that is already known but entirely open for their own interpretation; would be foolish not to.

Plus maybe we'll get female character they might have better confidence that could do okay in the toy aisle.

Now I'm hoping it will also be one that for once isn't used as a love interest. *fingers crossed*

It'll probably be something like, She introduces herself as Mona, And Mikey is like. "Mona? How about Mona Lisa?" And she will probably be like. "I'm ok with that."

Well, if she's the same race as Neutralizer, then she'll probably have a translating option on her suit, but it only translates basic words. Remember the "RAKKA RAKKA RAKKA" thing? What if Mona Lisa's name doesn't translate into English. When she does, it sounds like Mona Lisa, only with a lot of clicking and hissing?
