Oh look, another accurate depiction of Casey Jones.

But nah, we'll go with Green Arrow Pretty Boy instead. Sounds about right.

Why'd they make so much concept art of the mask if they weren't even gonna use it?????

At this point, I'm leaning towards the idea that half of this isn't hired concept art... it's fan art they found on Deviantart or Tumblr or somewhere.

But that would imply that they did research...

I'm perfectly OK with OotS bearing no visual resemblance whatsoever to the source material -- any source material -- as it has no resemblance to it in any other ways either.

*Autbot_Benz* · 06-15-2016, 12:57 PM

so these movies follow the Playmates trend. Concept art looks better than actual product

You still don't fully comprehend the power of the Bay (TF spoilers, kind of, but who cares?)

Oh yes...

The worst part is, it's all based on an actual episode of TF.
A Decepticon Raider in King Arthur's Court

So you can't even claim he's 100% at fault...

Still...why, why, and more why.

That's very reminiscent of the mask from the 1990 movie. I dig the red accents!

That TF leak... intense. If that's true, I'll be there opening day.

Spoiler:

SOLD.

Merlin? Christ, they really do just pull words out of a hat.

"British Transformers"? Okay, so I haven't paid much attention to the Transformers films, but uh... I thought they were supposed to be aliens.

Awe man, your breaking my heart! Marky-Mark is the absolute worst thing to happen to TF.

Anyways, here's another piece of concert art:

I kept waiting for Bumblebee to start playing Good Vibrations in the last movie.

Looks more like a storyboard for the deleted scene of the concert in which the Turtles put on old-timey disguises to attend April's piano recital.

Spoiler:

So it's Jared who designed the PD turtles that is responsible for that Casey Jones concept art. Being cautious not to start anything mean but is anyone with a twitter account curious about asking him about the German pickles ad?

d_osborn · 06-15-2016, 07:20 PM

I couldn't help myself.
