I loved this issue! Great action, great character interaction(Mike and Regenta) and even more twists! What the hell was up with that giant hamster cage that Don and the Utroms are trapped in? I gotta see where this is going.

theres a pic of that cage in the back of issue 12. Its a very dumbed down versoin of it but it's there. Laird keeps mentioning leatherhead will return. and at the back of issue 12 he talks about issue 16. He says theres gonna be a weird area or something, which i guess is the "hampster cage" and he says the return of one of his favorite characters. So my ues is leatherhead and raph will duke it out. That would be one cool looking cover. Having mutated raph and leatherhead

Aww.. there, there... Buslady. Raph *will* be alright in the end (or at least, not a raging ugly beast). He has to be. Laird is not one to 'maime' his leading characters permanently, like Image had.

Sides... if seems you also liked to torture Raph a bit in your fics.

Then again... Laird would have been safer messing with Don. Us Donnie fans are less 'tempermental'.

it's not really a series you can jump into 2 years late, there's so much going on that's "new"

but I think you can get synopses of the other books online.

If I were top sum up Volume four I'd think my only real complaint is some cheesy dialog, but I like the overall story, new characters, Jim Lawson's art, and the covers by Mike Doony are amazing.

And Mutated Raph vs. Leatherhead would be one of the most awesome things ever.

Hopefully Mikey's plot will lead to some battles; I can see Mike saving the princess Mario style.

I finally got the issue, and it looks awesome! I really loved the scene with Michaelangelo and Regenta, especially with the little kid. It really shows his playful side.

It's been a while since I've liked a volume 4 issues, but this one was pretty good! The comic I'm REALLY waiting for is Tales #3, SHREDDAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry I'm all hyped after watching the classic tmnt dvd

Ok, I just read issue 15. Finally.

I have to say that I am friggin' impressed. Laird's storytelling progressively gets better with each and every issue. Very nicely done.

I quite enjoy how we are seeing a five different story archs playing themselves out simulataneously ---- one for each of the turtles, and one for April (who didn't actually appear in this issue). This, in my opinion, is really showing and highlighting each of the characters on an individual basis. Sometimes the characters are "overshadowed" by others when they all interact in a group (as is only natural), but with these separate archs we can see full character portrayal and story development. Very nice.

My personal prediction is that Mike is going to have to deal with "Raptor Raph" when he gets back to the city (as the others seem tied up at the moment). Should be a pretty interesting confrontation, if it happens.

On a side note, my only comment to Laird is that he research the electoral college system in more depth. There was a historical reason for why it was established (balance of power between the large and small states), not just "tradition".

Okay --- so he may not be the most politically enlightened fella on the block, but Pete sure is a damn good writer. Keep it up.
