What are the chances that Dr. Rockwell is going to show up as the Turtles way of saying "fight fire, with fire"? Although that character appearance is unlikely.

I can't believe its been almost 4 years since this show aired and now its gonna reach the 100 episode milestone. Its been such a great ride so far and season 4 seems to be the last season with Shredder as the main enemy in the same way that 4kids tmnt was finished with utrom shredder after season 3 so I expect a shift in tone and style starting from season 5.

Every TMNT cartoon hit the milestone 100 episodes, feels good.

Now Nick TMNT has to make it to at least 150 episodes to make it close to the 4kids era. We need two more seasons.

Season 5 is only 20 episodes.

Fred wolf had small seasons not all of them were 26 episodes. Nick needs another 5 seasons of 26 episodes to surpass Fred Wolf.

Who cares? This is not an issue! Box office grosses should not determine film quality just as longevity does not determine the overall quality of a TV series, animated or otherwise. Most of the time when a franchise or series runs longer than it should, it's because of business and cash cow factors such as marketing, merchandise sales, etc. We do not need to go beyond 124 episodes to prove or say that the 2012 series is better than 1987's, it just has to provide quality goods in these last 24 episodes.

Just a few days ago, I commented at someone that said that "The Walking Dead" is the best TV show of all time (how can it be in TV's almost 90 year history?). I argued that it's not even the best in AMC history! Now, The Walking Dead seems like it's built to last, especially because of how long its source material has run and the fact that Robert Kirkman will be making issues it seems for years to come. But if I were to remind you of "Mad Men" (92 episodes) or "Breaking Bad" (62 episodes) you would admit that those were better, and a large factor would be that they ended at the right time. ...Hell, TWD isn't even better than "Better Call Saul"!

That and a long run could mean a drought of quality. A perfect example of this is the Simpsons, it just keeps on becoming more and more of a dried up husk of it's former self.

Simpsons literally has 600 episodes. Obviously no show should last that long.

150 episodes on the other hand is a decent length.

I think we might get a 2 week hiatus due to this Mutation Madness promo that I found on YouTube.

By the way, the promo only reuses scenes from both The Super Shredder and Darkest Plight.

I'm not sure if they will be repeats, but supposedly the promo said new episodes.

Also, if Zap2It has the episode description of the Turtles fighting new enemies, that's the basic description for the show on the site, not a new episode. I've seen it before.
