You also said it was common sense they would never mutate Karai. So it's easy to say they're not following the logic trail in your book.

I pretty much expect that Turtles will run for AT LEAST 5 seasons, given that nick has so much source to go by, but also its rumored that the movies are contracted into a minimum trilogy, they would be silly to NOT keep the show going.

I don't think the situation is as dire as some may think, even though TMNT stays within 4th or 5th place in Nick's line up. I'm guessing at least 5 seasons will be made if the ratings stay within 2.0-2.5 million range. The way how I'm figuring it is the 0.5-0.8 million drop with this second season reduced the number of episodes for the confirmed 4th season.

Now if the ratings dip below 2 million (per episode) more frequently in this 3rd season, then I would be more concerned. Though as I mentioned before, the 2014 movie and its hype could be used to cross-promote the Nick series and introduce more kids to it. By the end of this year, we should get a good forecast on how the TMNT franchise is doing both with the movies and the series.

On a side note, in my opinion, the promotional and scheduling teams at Nick have been doing a poor job with this series. The first was having episodes air during the summer time during 2013 when most kids would enjoy the summertime. The second was not taking advantage of the unseasonably frigid temperatures of early 2014 in not airing new episodes throughout the months of January and March, when kids were forced to stay home anyways. (In fact, during February 2014, the show had the highest viewership during the season, BUT their scheduling follows sweeps more or less.) The third, and this is speculative, is if the rest of the new episodes from the second season do not coincide with the 2014 movie in August.

It's not news as such but the new UK issue of the TMNT magazine is out now (it's dated from 24th July) and there's a sweet poster of the turtles in practice gear. So wooden weapons, training armour etc.

I know this isn't the best quality but I just took it quickly off my cheap digi cam, I'll get a better version up tomorrow.

(Btw that's not dodgy colour correction on Raph's chest, he's got red armour!)

Also http://shes-in-the-footclan.tumblr.com/ have posted some pictures from the art exhibit where those Creep pictures came from. There's pre production artwork we haven't seen before, including some of Snake Karai and it says 'Kiba' on the paper, like it's her new name now or something?

Well Kiba does mean Fang. So that does make sense, since she can't really call herself Karai now.

It pisses me off because this season of LOK is SO DAMN GOOD and Nick didn't market it very well. SpongeBob used to be good, and now it's just God awful.

I agree, but I doubt they're gonna have 26 episodes in all of them. 20 episodes for season 4 probably just means that season is gonna have less filler and a larger story. I feel that season 3 is gonna be the most story since Ciro said he could end the series in 3 seasons.

Looking at that artwork, I did catch something interesting for the Turtle Wiki editors: If you scroll down to the concept concept drawings of Shredder's lair, it's says "Should be set in Vladville or East Village area if possible."

Maybe Kiba is what she calls herself? Or maybe Mikey gives it to her, although I can't see it coming from him this time.

Nick gonna milk that Spongebob to the very end. The show started in 1999 and is still going... not a lot of cartoons can say they've lasted over 15 years, especially those geared totally towards kids.
