I think almost everyone's feedback is "__________ didn't get enough pages," but I'm glad to see that so many TMNT fans enjoyed the book. The combination of deadlines, accessibility of creative talent, and the material that was readily available from fans and creators affected what made it into print. Another six months and another 20 pages, and the book would have been absolutely perfect, but we're really happy with the book we produced.

Fortunately, Peter Laird's blog and other fan sites exist as supplements to the book, and I'm sure many of us have lost hours at a time reading through his episode-by-episode look at the 4Kids series and his many, many other TMNT projects.

Somehow, the mentioning of the Chipmunks was one of my favourite parts in the book.

The french edition of the book is releasing next week, and I'm so glad I had the opportunity to read it and make correction in translation !

I have read this book 2 now, and I still find myself picking it up and reading various sources. It's great to read on the dumper as well

No problem. you obviously put a lot of work into the book so our comments are the least we can do. Yeah, my complaints were minor. This book really is a love letter to TMNT fans.

It includes all the facsimile (posters, flyers, comic...) of the original version, and there are not translated.

Andrew, I was seriously considering dropping some dough to fly across the country and see the first issue on display at the Cartoon Art Museum, but silly things like iphone 6s and engagement rings got in the way of my budgeting.

Are there any pictures of the exhibit online? I'd love to see the display in some form.

You know I almost completely forgot this book existed, and I own a copy. I'm going to have to look through it again soon, I did enjoy it. Would even buy an "extended remaster" adding in more stuff.

So it's been way too long since I've posted here (I still lurk off and on), but a better paying job mixed with some more manageable prices via Amazon, and I've finally gotten around to putting in an order for a copy of this! Can't wait to finally give it a read through when it comes in.

I have absolutely no doubt about that. It took a while, but my copy finally came in, and man is this a pretty book. The best part is that despite getting a used copy, it looks like all of the insert material is still there, including the copy of issue #1 and the cover art poster, and still has the built-in envelope for storing all of this stuff.

I've got a long work day ahead of me tomorrow (as in 11 hours, but I do that every Saturday and Sunday), so I know what I'm gonna be doing tomorrow, heh.

My only complaint about this book is the sheer amount of inserts (almost one on every page). It seems like it'd be too easy to end up losing some of them, and it makes it annoying to move them out of the way to read.
