Sometime down the road, the Turtles will come back to TV. It only took 8 years from them to return. (From the last episode of the old series to the first episode of the new series.) The Turtles are the kind of property that can be brought back to a whole new generation. With Peter Laird still around and in command of the IP, another animation series is always a possibility. Granted, I hope he picks one that won't jack up his vision. (4kids with their Fast Forward attempt) Trust me. If 2007 is indeed the last year of Turtles animation, then we shouldn't have too much longer to wait after that.

who has the patience to wait?! i mean honestly, lol wasnt it bad enough waiting those 8 years(less if u count the NM series, which i know a lot of people don't like) i would have to have to wait any longer for another cartoon, lol turtles are like a drug, once u have a taste of them, u need more and more and more!

....Hello, my name is mikey, i have an addiction

If only he could parter up with Bruce Timm to do another TMNT cartoon. That would be awesome.

Anyway, I hope the TMNT do come back with another show, I just don't want to wait 8 years. I'd give them 3, if nothing then, it's over.

Bruce Timm Ninja Turtles? Sounds promising but I doubt he'd do it. Let's face it, to the comic book world the TMNT are laughing stock when compared to Batman, Spider-Man, etc. Shoot... Hellboy and Spawn get more respect in the comic book industry than TMNT despite all of them not belonging to the "huge" labels. When Laird and 4kids came into agreement it was a given that TMNT was going to be "for kids". I doubt there is another company that would take a different approach honestly because even a great show like Justice League Unlimited was intended for younger viewers. So if say... Warner did it then we can hope for something better looking than the images on the TMNT site for their previous idea.

A CGI Turtles produced by Warner Bros. has some potential though.

I believe the first thing that needs to be done is get TMNT off Saturday mornings. Saturday morning is a DEAD ZONE at this point. KWB's ratings were much better over the years than they are now and don't even get me started on 4kidsTV's ratings.

The logical choice IMO is Cartoon Network. The only way you'll get TMNT animated in prime time now is on Toonami. And that could be a perfect show for that. They could even let it be TV-PG like IGPX. Though Y7-FV is still quite a bit more likely. The problem with that is there isn't much give with CN. If it doesn't do well with ratings (and I sure hope it would) then it's gone to never be seen again.

Speaking of which they just dumped The Batman in favor of Teen Titans reruns as of January 6th. It'd e freak'n great if they put Ninja Tribunal on that slot instead.

i didnt even know toonami was still on cartoon network, haha, but i guess the only time i ever try to watch that channel is for [adultswim], that would be a cool place for the turtles to be, people would watch it then,....BUT we know that would never happen (can't blame a guy for wishful thinking)

I would'nt say TMNT is that much of a laughing stock. They only remeber that old cartoon show becuase the old comics are hard to find. PL and KE never collected them in trade paperbacks, and the comics themeselves are too hard to find. Once PL puts out those TMNT TPB's hes been working on, The turtles rep among comic fans might come around.

But back to the point, I wouldn't trust CN right now. They're big into this anime thing now, Bottom line, the TMNT are'nt safe on any network right now. I'd give it a few years, if nothings changed, then TMNT is doomed to suffer they smae fate as before.

Christmas isn't a happy time for me. Not since that incident with Santa Claus and the squirrells.

Come again? Santa Clause and squirrels? Is there a funny comedy behind this?
