Which begs the question- which universe was the Genisis game "Hyperstone Hiest", as Tatsu from the TMNT movies and Leatherhead and Rocksteady from the cartoon co-exist? Turtles in Time is on a technicality, since they worked Rahzar and Tokka into an episode.

The same could be said for Turtles in Time and such. Turtles in Time still had Slash look more like his original action figure design than the stupid cartoon design. Tokka and Rahzar acted more like the movie versions... Super Shredder was never in the show, nor did Krang ever had a spaceship or Rat King ever use a Footski...
TMNT The Arcade Game... no Tora and Shogun in the cartoon... TMNT 3 Manhattan Project- Slash, Groundchuck and Dirtbag were shown herw waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay before they were ever featured on the cartoon... and again, Super Shredder wasn't in the cartoon. TMNT 1 for the NES... uh....... nuff said... |

I don't think it's worth thinking too much about the games as they clearly take things from multiple sources.
I think it's pretty cool that way, because it gives you an experience that appeals to the fan of all things TMNT. |
