I know next to nothing about Guardians of the Galaxy, but this trailer appeals to me! Look forward to this!

Looks fun! Even though this is part of phase 2, I'm assuming this will be the first movie to be integral to phase 3 and the big inevitable fight with Thanos.

And yeah, Platinum Dunes can (hopefully) kiss TMNT goodbye. No way that will compete with this.

Perfect trailer. It nailed the tone of the film without giving anything away.

I wish James Gunn was directing TMNT instead of Liebesman.

Originally i thought there was no way TMNT wouldnt be #1 at the box office its first weekend. Now I'm not so sure GOTG doesn't beat TMNT in its second week.

TMNT is my all time favorite franchise but I'm way more excited for GOTG and I had never heard of them until 2 years ago. That's what happens when you have a director and production company behind you that really care about the property and know how to showcase it properly.

I want the TMNT movie to bomb so there aren't any sequels. If they make another TMNT movie eventually I prefer it to be another reboot disregarding the movie this year.

I hope the first TMNT movie opens huge but the sequel bombs.

If the first movie bombs it may be a long, long, long while before we see another attempt at a TMNT flick, if ever. But if the first film opens huge but the sequel bomb, they'll at least know that the audience is there but we didn't like their approach. Then they'll reboot it in 10 years or so.

I finally watched the trailer. It looked good. Still, I ain't watching that. It doesn't look like I would be interested, know nothing about Guardians of the Galaxy anyway.

Can't wait to see this movie! Count me in. I've loved Thanos since I was introduced to him via the old mSH videogame as a kid. Since I'm unable to read comics, stuff like this is the next best thing, and I'm pumped. Thinkin TMNT isn't going to do all that well compared to this one. Still plan on seeing that one though since TMNT served as a launch pad into all other superhero genre related media when I was a kid. But I think Guardians is going to be a huge hit. Gotta love that Rocket! lol

Some interesting info from an interview with James Gunn, He said that Marvel Studios does not own the rights to the Badoon, Its the reason why they have the Sakaaran in the movie, and they only own partial rights to the Skrulls. Fox owns the rights to the Badoon due to there connections with the Fantastic Four.
