If we're talking about personality alone then Sarah Michelle Geller is your girl.
She good at playing spunky, no non-sense type of characters that we expect our April to be.

But anyway, this shouldn't be about looks, and it bothers me when that's all fans "cast" by, it about how one can portray the character April O'Neil. I guess I depends on your own preferences of how you like to see April portrayed, I prefer the matronly, older April.

Karen Gillan can go suck Pond water.
Sounds like you sucked up some Pond water.
Karen Gillian is an incredible actress. But if your prejudiced towards attractive people, and want to lump two actors into the same category, even though they are nothing alike, that's your prerogative.

I hate when fans bash actors simply because they are pretty. Try watching the clip posted, you'll see she's much more than a pretty face.

Also, I've never seen April as Matronly, in any version of TMNT.

Is she even acting anymore?

Last I heard she was on the pilot called "The Crazy Ones" with Robin Williams.

That's right...

Fair enough, she did play the role before, so I get why you'd want her back,
But I still stand by Karen Gillan.

Anyways, I hoped their would be more to talk about than April...

Should they kill off Vernon? I vote yes.

On screen? Can it be in a comedic way?

Like, I dunno, Mikey is envious over the competition for April's attention that he has zero chance of ever having and just kinda..."oops, my bad..." "accidentally" knocks Vernon off a building..?

I don't need to watch him die per say, just, less him in the film. Like 0/100% of the screen time?
Maybe less...

You know if we had time travel, I would go take Arnold Schwarzenegger from when he was in his prime and cast him as Hun. I can even think of a few Arnold one-liners for the role:

"The day I torched your father's shop Jones, I told him not to work so hard, you might get burned out".

"I heard you came from another world, looking you it must be hell".

"I will put the Foot up your ass".
