Yup, this episode was definetly based on Vol. 1 #14 "The Unmentionables". It had many of the same elements in it.

I really liked this episode. It was fun, funny, and action packed. Thumbs up.

I liked this ep! Lots of fun, always love a good car chase, and it's great to see the guys out of their masks once again! But, who would of thunk some J.R. look-alikes would be interested in a golden puck? Is hockey a favorite sport among the country rich type folk? You know the kind I mean. The apple pie mention was funny, and typical of Mikey to go on about. Being the towel maid earned some chuckles too! Hehehe.

Questions, though. The Turtles are supposed to be shadow warriors and avoid less exposure of themselves. I was surprised to see they took off their protective human clothing and show their true forms to the bad guys! Do they think these people aren't going to say anything? Or what if one of them had a camera (for some odd reason, but level with me) and decided to take pictures? I think this episode is supposed to be based on the Mirage book, "The Unmentionables" and if memory serves me, they exposed themselves in that issue, too! *thinks* Yeah, they have to rescue April and jump into the scene in just their ninja attire. So, while I enjoyed this episode, the whole exposure to humans part starts to bug me. It's like they go against Splinter's wishes of 'not to be seen' and handle the situation in their own way. K, I'm done.

Stay Tuned!!!
I like the third Indiana Jones Movie.

Glad most of you enjoy this one. Another Casey Jones episode on the house. I didn't notice them with the hockey masks on at the begginning.
The Golden Punk being pass down since the creation of Hockey was interesting.

I'm surprised no one said anything about Crazy Manny making a camoe in this one. not only does he supply electronics but his introduces snowmobles as well.

I thought the filler villians were going to be some other type of villians. Hope to see those Texans again in another episode.

My Rating 5 out of 5 stars. Best Filler episode of S2 yet.

Ouch! Tough luck there, dude!

I had to time-record mine, too, just so I could put it in SLP mode so I wouldn't use up so much videotape (accidently dunked the remote with the tape-speed and pause buttons on it in a glass of tea, so it don't exactly work. Silly, clumsy me). And I got subjected to ol' W.H., too, unfortunately. I'm hoping that I can get another VCR together with mine and edit stuff like that OUT of my eps. I hate commercials, anyway.

Hmm, I ended up liking this episode a lot more than I thought I would. Being almost anti-sports, I guess I went in a little biased. Then again, getting to see the guys' eyes again sure perked me up.

BTW, loved Mikey's mask, how the mouth piece came down to let him eat without revealing his face every time. And I was really impressed that they didn't just "forget" that it was altered like that. The string showed up quite a few time even while it was pushed up.

Okay, first sports, now a Western. Two of my least favorite genres mixed in with my favorite show. Still, it had some really good lines. I laughed every time they called Casey a bonehead, but I was cheering for Casey because I had to admire the guy's determination and dedication to what he loved.

And on a lighter note... A sweepstakes to win a completely Turtleized bedroom!?! Rock man!

WOW

Wow am I shocked today's episode was realy good!
It did remind me allot of the unmentionables issue of the old mirage book which is a good thing considering it was a great issue.....I loved there turtles wearing the hockey masks with there discuses...perhaps a little tribute to the image comics raph wearing Casey mask probably not though eh?
Does anyone else think perhaps we will be seeing hockey turtles as figures now perhaps?
Super Slam Hockey was kinda cool it would make for a really interesting realy sport lol.
Slim was a decent character he reminded me allot of Simon Bonesteal from the next mutation.
The bit about this is my brother bobby and my other brother bobby was great hahah.
The main bad guy reminded me the entire time of Boss Hog it was so great when Casey called him Boss Hog I about lost lol.
I loved how the guys kept Casey waiting when he thought he was a big shot.....I liked the snowmobiles as well I wonder I don will keep one and mess with it.
I am honestly and pleasantly surprised at how good this episode was I give it a 10 out of 10 stars this is leaps and bound above last weeks episode and this may just be one of my favorite episodes yet out of this series and it's great because I really thought I would hate it.

New Yorkers get sterotyped all the time, especially on Turtles. I thought the episode was awesome, and I can barely wait for the DVD release!

whaaa- as for me who hasn't seen that many TMNT eps, this was a great ep. i liked the fighting moves and the moves donny made when he entered the van. humour was great as always and it kinda reminded me of the old days. no big story and lots of fighting and stuff to laugh about.

and the part where the TMNT let casey "sweat it" a bit. was hilarious. 'specially when leo stood up and waved at casey and the rest was there chuckling.

and the fights on the ice... superb!

Well, it wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be.
As always...so cool the turtles w/out their bandanas heheh....
they're doing that alot lately ya know?

Casey falling on his head on the van...typical Casey.

Raph's ice trick with the sai was really cool, an' sliding on his shell! Cool! haha

Boss Hogg! HAHA!

um...
And yeah, them messing with Casey waiting behind the wall giggling was hilarious! Oh yeah I thought Raph's sai throught the dude's windshield and into his gut was cool....I think that's the first time you really see him hit someone with his sai...that close up.
it's wasn't bad....the previous one was a snoozer this was alot better. Casey was prety cool but a little obsessive but that's ok.
