The movie was delayed to 2013 a while back. By then, it shouldn't be too much of a stretch.

The first film had it's own thing separate from the OT as did the two sequels, and TMNT was vastly different from 2K3...

I believe his complaint is that multiple storylines starting so close to one another would be frustrating, which I agree with. Also, it would be unprecedented. However, it looks to me like Nick's new turtleverses will be introduced with a year between each.

Fall 2011 = IDW
Fall 2012 = Nick's toon
??? 2013 = Paramount's movie

all i know is if nick keeps doing what they've been doing im sure the new show is going to have nick's name in the title screen just like all the other shows they've got on now. i look forward to seeing nick's name on everything tmnt... (sarcasm)

yeah you guys are right nick is no different than 4kids and i was fine bout that well forget i said any of it..i get alittle stupid when it comes to tmnt sometimes i just hope and pray that nick treats them right thats all if nick is still the same as when i was a kid then there should be no issue buuuut...nick isnt exactly the same they have to many live action shows now and sitcoms they used to be mainly cartoons but i still watch nick so thats got to say something...i guess im one confusing individual..

Nick has always had live action shows. I don't even know what you're getting at. Don't start with the tired 'everything was better in my day' argument.

It's clear that this show isn't going to be a clone of one of their other shows. There is nothing really to get crazy about.

Hey, Brandatello. I don't want to get my hopes up, but I'm excited about this. Have some faith.

Besides: the Nickelodeon logo is not as taunting as you thought. The only thing I see is a title in letters that looks like the old '84 Comic lettering.

Also, anything that's released will have logos of the company that owns them. It's part of their business. So since Nickelodeon now owns the franchise, Nickelodeon will be written all over every new merchandising. Even fanart today say that TMNT is owned by Viacom. It's no big deal.

I will have to disagree with Stryker about 4Kids being no different from Nickelodeon. Sometimes Nickelodeon plays crap, but their shows get more attention. 4Kids was not really anything. It was not a whole channel with other hit shows. It was just a Saturday or Sunday Morning cartoon line up on a local channel, where the nightly shows were more successful. Something like The Simpsons or 24 were big on Fox; not Sonic or TMNT. If he doesn't agree with me, that's fine. These are just my thoughts on this.

I wonder which Leatherhead and Metalhead we'll see, since they are 2 characters who have very drastic differences between universes.

Did we ever see Metalhead outside the original cartoon? (besides toy and videogames?)

The 4kids series used the Evil Turtlebot, which is a different character.

There was a MetalHead in the 2k3 series who had no relation to the one from the 80's show and was a member of the Justice Force.
