He does? Then yes, I will get him. I think they should replace the bald head with a 2K3 accurate helmet, an OT accurate helmet, or even a little tiny Karai.

you'd better buy him! I think his figure looks fantastic. not as good as say, leatherhead but still he's really well done.

Playmates released this at Toy Fair

Usually they start appearing a few weeks early so you might be able to find them soon. But it really depends on the store and their timing of when they order a case of the figures.

Leatherhead/Snakeweed/Baxter are officially called "wave 4" (their little name cards at Toy Fair showed it)

Hmm... Maybe I will get Spiderbytez, just never open him. If getting him increasers the chance of getting Karai, then I'm in.

I have to be honest, there hasn't been any figures since the basic 4 that I've really contemplated getting. I haven't been thrilled about any since. Kinda bums me out because they have some real potential here. I know I don't speak for everyone, because I definitely feel in the minority regarding the classic figures, I don't like any of them one bit. I'm kind of glad in the sense it saves me money, but when I was a kid I used to get every dang TMNT figure that came out, because all were really cool. Now I'm just not impressed with anything I see. None, other than the basic 4, have lived up to how great the old school figures were in my opinion.

Thanks Zulithe!

I see they've not stated the storage shell turtles, playsets and vehicles yet.

So Snakeweed101 what is your input on the upcoming Snakeweed figure? Is it everything you hoped for and does he look like a good figure? I never actually heard what you thought about it.

Love it, all of it, defiantly what I wanted plus more ( hidden articulation) he looks amazing in my eyes, I would like him to be a bit more in scale, but that's just nitpicking, I'd give him a 9/10!

Exactly how I felt about the figure. A little more effort with the paint job and scaling and he could have been perfect. This is why he is my favorite character from this series and in case you are interested, I might decide to get another to make a custom with more accurate paint on some parts and make him look a little bit more accurate. Also just in case others are confused about his design, here's probably the best close up of him in box that I found. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-DigvfloOU_...AKEWEEDMIP.jpg

Yeah, back in wave 1 they had the weapon racks, I thought they were going to do that for every figure, maybe so little kids won't lose anything?

They are all larger than normal though. It'd be neat if they came with stuff yeah but sadly playmates decided they want to make them as cheap as possible so parents will buy them for their kids.

If I had it my way I'd rather playmates charge 14.99 a figure (like almost every other figure manufacturer these days, especially marvel & dc figures, transformers, etc.), that way they could add a lot more stuff. like better paint, more articulation, larger (esp. in the case of leatherhead and spider bytez), accessories.

anytime I get disappointed in something in the new figures I try to look at the price. They are way below most other figures on shelves. Unfortunately the 4 turtles are the BEST figures of the line and it doesn't look like playmates is interested in topping them or even equaling them in terms of the quality. But hey, at least we have 4 very awesome turtle brother figures, some of the best ever made.

But playmates is one of the best action figure companies out there, they make quality products for one of the lowest prices on the shelf, and they do charge 15$ for some figures, just not the basic ones.

but I think their $15 figures are the biggest problem with their line. they should be doing more 'collector' grade figures in that price range not figures that shoot pizzas out of their stomach. they are missing out on adult collectors by not doing more HQ stuff. the classics line is the only exception and they only started that very recently. plus it's OT only. I want Nick stuff.
