ahh, we are gettin into tricky waters now...... we are talking about art and determining the quality of it. it most certainly is not 'just your opinion' but at the same time it is not some rigid objective standard you can point to.

the fact is, though, the mirage story is better art than the other versions because it can serve as a means of opening the audience up to deeper aspects of themselves. the archie and cartoon most certainly do not do that.

True, it's deeper, but someone might like the lighter version better.

yeah, but just because you might like a certain 'style' better does not mean its better art.
