I wonder why he IS wearing those glasses, though? COULD he be blind, or something? I know that in the old Biker Mice From Mars series, Throttle was technically blind (he had cybernetic eyes, (curtesy of Karbunkle) that didn't work the majority of the time), and he had to wear Martian field-specs to be able to see without wearing his helmet all the time. Maybe those shades that Leo's wearing serve the same purpose.

And you know, I found it a bit worrying that we didn't see the Future Donnie, Mikey, Splinter, April or Casey. But then again, it WAS just the preview, so maybe they were just trying to get the MAIN stuff across. I guess we'll find out for sure when this ep airs on CN Thursday afternoon. Can't wait!!!

It wasn't really a sheath..it was more round and it had an opening at the end for something more cylinder in shape like the bo staff LOL

But I still think it's Leo..okay, Wolfie, is it me, sis, or do you get the whole "Bright and Shiny Future" bit? LOL

Yeah, I think it's Leo, too. The skin-color is just too bright a green to be Donnie's.

And it's NOT just YOU, Kazzy! I got that impression, too. In fact, I kept looking for Razor, T-Bone, The Patmaster and the Metallikats rather that the Turtles. Those Karai-bots (thank YOU, Dr. Chaplin!) reminded ME way TOO much of the robots that Mac and Molly were using in that ep. Maybe NOT so much in looks, as much as fire-power.

1st off, Kazari i'm so sorry to hear about ur grama. i really hope she's not suffering and will get better. i've lost a couple family members lately, so i know how much it sucks. i'll keep u & ur family in my thoughts & prayers as well. & i gotta give u a virtual hug too!

that preview was amazing! & those pics are great Kazari, thanks! i especially love the capture of raph throwing himself over leo's body! i ran around my house jumping off the walls & going: "oh my gosh-oh my gosh-oh my gosh! raph & leo angst! my favorite thing in the world!!!" my mom looked at me like i embarass the shell outta her and said she wouldn't even ask. she knows i'm insane when it comes to leo/raph stuff but i still scare her sometimes. it's just a little fetish of mine.

although i suppose i should say something about the ep this discussion's supposedly about... i liked it better than reality check, but not a whole lot more. it wasn't bad anyway. mikey's was a little too cheesy for me & i like raph better. my fav part of the ep was definitely the winning w/out honor part. i laughed out loud (kinda rare for me) when raph realized he sounded like leo. i agree that leo's rubbing off. i think they're a lot closer than the stereotype/ people say. (if that made any sense. u know what i mean. ) i must say i loved the fact that the only bro raph called out for/to was leo! it's mho that raph's closer to leo than the others. is it just me?

The only reason that I see Leo wearing these glasses is if he is blind or in disguise... it just doesnt strike me that Leo would walk around wearing dark glasses, but it is another dimension, after all. Maybe they switched around the boy's personalities as well. (not saying that they did, juss suttin that popped into my head as I was typing this)

If it is Donnie, then maybe they're like lab glasses or suttin...I'm trying to think of a scientist from a movie or a show that was wearing glasses like that...grr its just at the tip of my tounge... erm, fingertips.

Though both sides have good arguements. We will have ta wait and see.

Probably. I almost had a panic attack this morning cause I woke up and Sonic X was on the TV and not TMNT (and I thought I had missed the big Raphie ep)... then the commercial came on... said that its airing at 10:30 now, whch gives me a half an hour ta sleep. Yay!

Principle nemisis takes over and makes a dictatorship, beat up freedom fighter good guys with missing eyes and bad injuries... several regular cast members dead for years... at least we know from the start that this is an alternate reality.

I saw Raph (somebody let the poor guy keep his eye ), and Leo (blind, presumably, with the sunglasses-things), and Don in an exosuit (kinda like those new exosuit toys I saw on ninjaturtles.com, but not so brightly colored. Couldn't tell if he was our young Donatello, or the native, older Don. I think he was older, but I'd also think they'd be showing young Don in the preview...)

*blinks* And what about Karai...? Will she be in it? (sorry, Kazari )

Oh yeah Aska I remember. If that really was blind Leo well blind Leo=eyeless Broadway. And Cyborg Don, heheh Lex anyone? I'm sure a few people are dead. But I hope Shreddar is real otherwise I'm gonna start thinking someone's been copying a certain Disney show.

Actually, Wolfie, I looked at the pic again..it's a sheath so that turtle with the glasses IS Leo. Maybe there's no such thing as future Mikey and future Don..depends how grim they want to get with this.

This epside hit my soft spot, because I'm all about strange-races (I'm not a fan of Star Wars, but I liked the race Anikan was in in Episode I). This episode had so many strange turns... sorry, I'm just a friggin' fan of dangerous races! Hot choppers, high speeds, crazy worms... this episode was something I HAD to record and rewind.

And the idea of this episode fit Raph so well. Raph's definitely the one who has a need for speed... I was glad to see him get that need fulfilled. Sick handling on this episode, though I was hoping Raph would let those carnivorous creatures take out that Nitrose Team... they deserved it.

But next week's episode.... WOW! Thank goodness they gave my favorite turtle the most interesting parallel universe, so far!

I hope that Donnie and Mikey DO exist in this dimension. Maybe they're just in hiding, or something. Only time (5 more days, to be exact) will tell.

And Kazzy, when this ep comes on, could I make a screencap request of you? ALL the pics of AU Raph and Leo that you can manage? AND some of Donnie (OUR universe's Donnie), as well as the AU Donnie and Mikey...IF they're alive in this thing! But the ones that I MAINLY want are of Raph and Leo. Thankies in advance.

And that goes for ANYBODY around here who does screencaps; Aska, coryroo, Mikey|DAH; whoever. They would be GREATLY appreciated.

In that one scene of today's ep (I THINK it was right after Raph and Falcon won the ice planet part of the race), did anyone notice that amongst the people celebrating their victory was the cook from that sleezy inn on D'Hoonib (the one who turned the Fugitoid and the guys in after Mikey's cover was blown) in the "The Fugitoid" part of the "Turtles in Space" ep-arc? That kinda startled me just a bit.

This episode was so much fun! And not just because it featured Raph, either. That was just the main reason.

The recap of Drako’s attack left me confused at the very beginning, but then it made perfect sense.

I love how Raph’s all worried about getting back home. That’s his first concern and he has to be manipulated into racing. But he does enjoy it once he has no other choice.

And Raph races with honor! I laughed when he said he was starting to sound like Leo, but I knew Raph wasn’t gonna leave them.

LOL, probably another re-use of a model sheet.

I'm pretty sure that's Leo. I ran it through my paint program and turned up the saturation... looks like light green rather than olive green.

*mutters* I am not a fan of swearing. All this 'shell' stuff has been getting on my nerves since the show started...

EDIT: I like the character adaptations. Although, for some reason, everyone's hair color changed...

hmm what did I like about this episode...well to be honest not much....I'm not into racing but I guess if It was more like it was on planet racers I probably would be lol does that make me evil? hehe
I do have to say for an episode about raph this was really boring..........but the planet racers characters where great or well great looking anyway.....I hope we get allot of figures from the alternate reality episodes if we don't it's a damn shame......
So yea I don't care for this episode but yea NEXT WEEK OMG my friends are yelling at me already to tell me to shut up about it I don't care though it very well could be the most amazing episode from this show yet!

That's not totally true in the future archie comics donatello had Leo's Sheaths on his back......so you never know...I personally want to know why Shredder utrom is pink....
