Not much to report. Girls still workin on leather peices. Meanwhile we've started shooting scenes from the episode that dont include the turtle

*zkarlette* · 06-07-2012, 09:49 PM

Well, it's a process... and you've been working really fast on the suit, can't wait to see it all come together.

goingnowhereshow · 06-21-2012, 11:50 AM

well clearly we didnt make our deadline. Girls still doing the pads. So we pushed the film back to July 14. We've shot everything that doesnt require the turtle in the meantime to speed things up when the turtle is finally ready. As a nod to the 80's show, we're making the foot soldiers robots

*zkarlette* · 06-23-2012, 11:25 PM

Cool! Hopefully it will be finished soon.

goingnowhereshow · 06-28-2012, 08:55 AM

well, elbow and knee pads are almost done, all thats left on them is figuring out the best way to keep them tied. everyone tells me velcro wouldnt be strong enough. So hopefully i can finish everything today, since florida supercon is tomoro and im curious to see what happens with the costume. I doubt it but ill try to make it >.<

*zkarlette* · 06-28-2012, 04:43 PM

How about some leather thread?

goingnowhereshow · 07-03-2012, 07:55 AM

So i took it to florida supercon this weekend. Won the Journeyman category in the cosplay contest. When they called me up everyone was chanting go ninja go ninja go! pretty cool.
Managed to meet another cosplayer that coincidentaly follows this thread.
Unfortunately the paint took a little bit of a beating at the con, and one part ripped, so i'll need to patch it up before finally getting to film the turtle parts of the episode. Hopefully the episode is online by jully 14

I am constantly amazed with the talent and creativity of some of the members of this site. Mindblowing. Well done.

What film are you referring to in this thread? I was thinking you were talking about that Casey Jones movie that was released, but the dates on this thread are too recent. I would be interested to learn more....

Again- Well Done!

goingnowhereshow · 07-06-2012, 01:12 PM

two to three films. one will hopefully go online july 14. Itll be an episode of our show going nowhere youtube.com/goingnowhereshow that ends up with the main characters finding themselves in a foot soldier situation and raphael helps out.
Once we finish doing all episodes of season 2 of going nowhere, i plan to make an actual ninja turtle short film that will include all 4 turtles and a few surprises.
And there might be one video we do in between those two which is my little secret

*zkarlette* · 07-06-2012, 03:32 PM

So you are making all the TMNT costumes!?

Can't wait to see the videos.

goingnowhereshow · 07-06-2012, 06:54 PM

no, i designed the head so that the bandana along with the eyebrows can be interchangeable, that way i can make a unique expresion for each turtle. I can do a pretty good cloning effect, and thats how i plan to do all 4 turtles at the same time.

*zkarlette* · 07-06-2012, 11:38 PM

Cool! You are very crafty.
