I'm digging pizza face but I think we have enough blob-like characters on the show. Mutagen Man, Pizzaface, even the kraang are little squishy balls. But I always thought Pizza The Hutt in spaceballs was really disturbing as a kid, hopefully they are going for an angle like that

Kurtzman seems like an interesting character. I wonder if he has any secrets. Also, was anyone else surprised how big Tiger Claw looked compared to Splinter when they jumped at each other?

Not much news, but it is awesome. Pizza Face seems like an interesting villain, and I like his voice. He's cool (I don't care about the OT toy that much). Kurtzman is a cool idea, being there just monitoring the Kraang. And Tiger Claw seems awesome.

Good stuff! Being totally blind since birth, I'd imagined Pizzaface to look quite a bit different before I actually got him in figure form as a kid. His demented pizza chef look was alright but I was actually thinking he'd be more of a pizza/human hybrid back in the day. . So it's great to be getting something a bit more disgusting and along the lines of what I was expecting years ago. We'll see how he pans out, I guess.

This has got to be one of my least favorite designs right next to Kirbys mutation.

I'd wager it's closer to Courage the Cowardly Dog in this regard , due to the frightening and often non-humanoid nature of the creatures.

It sounds like the episode is still an hour but only features a cameo from the OT Turtles. Sounds like the episode features dimension hopping and the OT is one of those dimensions.

The one thing I'm really looking forward to is the fact that Karai being in charge now, means more showdowns between Leo and Karai

While his figure was released in the 90's he was still a part of the vintage line.

I think most people don't like it for a few reasons.
It's yet another generic looking blob mutant.
It's not the pizza face they remember.
And it looks more like pizza the hut from the movie space balls.

Me I didn't like it until I watched the clip of him talking and saw him animated.

I actually really like the new Pizza Face design. Kinda makes me think of a Pokemon. Probably helps that I am not at all a fan of the original toy design. I would love to see a toy of the new design made. Maybe he and ICK could be a two-pack. Haven't watched the panel video yet, but I'm liking the idea of him sounding kinda like Warrio.

I highly doubt that Don is the only one who talks to the 80's Turtles as all of the VAs were doing recording, so I'm sure the other Turtles will get to talk to them. I think they just left it open-ended because they could only reveal so much, which is why they only said that Don and OT Raph will talk to each other.

I'm also excited for more Leo and Karai interaction, and I also can't wait for when the Turtles do find out the secret that she's Miwa. Pizzaface looks fine to me and is definitely a lot like Pizza the Hut, but that's a good thing for me as it'll make me think of Spaceballs which is one of my favorite movies.

I have mixed feelings about what we're shown so far. I wish I could say I was excited but I'm actually a bit disappointed.

Too much focus on mutants and too many mutant side characters, the cameo appearance suddenly sounds a bit disappointing, and I don't know how to feel about the Kraang being around for thousands of years and their influence on history.

An advanced alien race doesn't have the means to take over and terraform Earth by technological means? Instead they need a special kind of DNA? What have the Kraang been doing all those years?


Tigerclaw caught my interest. But disappointed there wasn't much news about Karai, except her taking over the Foot for awhile. I wish they would throw us a bit of a bone regarding her development and future role.

EDIT: Despite sounding negative, I'm still looking forward to the new season. Although some developments a bit more than others.

The Kraang being around for 1000s of years probably was done to secure April's status as the "chosen one." However, with that amount of time, it doesn't make sense that they're so conspicuous. Actually, it doesn't make sense to begin with, since hardly anyone noticed them. Making fun of ancient alien conspiracy theorists doesn't exactly work in a universe where the aliens are barely secret, and logically a lot more people should be on to them. Yet I'm pretty sure rule-of-funny is their main concern; more jokes is better to them, even if jokes about Kraang talking funny and Kraang being in hieroglyphs counteract each other.
