Not my favorite episode this season but I did like a few things like Mikeys fried calamari comment
I'm glad they got the part and the story can move forward.

So could Zeno and Traximus potentially co-exist then?

Best episode of the season.

Zeno should have been called Traximus though because duh.

And if they wanted to add a z:

Zraximus
Trazimus
Traximuz

Oh well though

How many 80s toon reference have there been again? Compared 03 references which consist of... Bishop and Hun?

To start, I REALLY liked the "Turtle Combat" at the very start! Shades of Tournament Fighters! Great to finally see the Triceraton Emperor, not to mention use of the Sun Stone pendant. Of course, I also got a kick out of Honeycutt shouting Booyakasha!

They've reimagined characters and used some places (Dimension X), but I don't think they've used actual plots from the OT. Apparently, they have for this episode from the 2K3 series.

They are I'm not sure if it was intentional however? Its not beat for beat so both can be enjoyed but watching them back to back will make which ever version you watch second seem a little stale.

EDIT: Even the joke of Mikey eating weird stuff he finds in prison is reused. Me an my bro made the joke if he might eat floor wax again Lol

Great fun.
The combat was well staged, exciting and ambitious. Those Triceraton characters just get better and better. Totally love their design.
Funniest thing was watching Mikey 'frying' his'calamari'. Ingenious use of the force field.
I've watched this one twice in under 24 hours, so id have to say I rank this as the number 2 episode in the season so far, after episode 1.

They used a plot from the Mirage comics not the 2k3 series.

Which the 2K3 series was adapted from. So, technically...

I'm delighted with how the Nick show is using the Fugitoid this season. And I've pleased with the way they decided to cover the Triceraton prison/arena/escape. The opening 5-episode space arc of the 4Kids Season 2 just felt like it dragged on forever!

Maybe I can go critical later, but for now I'm honestly a satisfied person, though I wish we got a two parter, that would have been awesome.

Also, I believe that was John DiMaggio as Zeno and Zanaramon I'm unsure on. If anyone can correct that or bring it up, thanks. I give it at least a 7 out of 10 overall.
Michael "Darkseid" Ironside as Zandramon and John DiMaggio as Traximus/Zeno. Ya know, they could have just added in an extra "x" to change Traximus's name up. They already have a habit of taking old names with characters completely unrelated Neutrinos, Chrome Dome, Razhar, etc. Who is Commander Mozar? I did not find it on IMDB and the DVR cuts it off before the end credits roll.

Really? They did a lot of different things int he 5-episodes 2k3 space arc. The Triceraton arena was only 1 episode in that series too.

Obviously! A rebellious triceraton with a sludge hammer. Nuff said.

I think he means elements such as befriending a triceraton with a sledge hammer and fighting against the Spasmosaur. The creature appeared in the comics but only in one page fighting off its enemies.

Yes, but this episode is actually more similar to that episode than it is the original comic. The Turtles never fight the Spasmosaur (although it does appear) or befriend a gladiator in the original comic, both happened in in the 2k3 cartoon however.

I have quite the opposite opinion, I felt five episodes was nice and this episode felt like it should have had multiple parts.

I definitely enjoyed this one. So far I've really been enjoying this whole season. The plot has been very well tied together with the overall narrative, while each episode does its own thing.

That arc was fantastic. It's that sort of thing that I was hoping we'd be getting from the Nick series.
