I don't know about that, it helps. I do think that connections are important. Donnie's connection with April. Leo's with Kaira. Mikey with Leatherhead and Raph with Slash, Casey. these relationships are all equal important to the turtles and help them develop and grow and impact on the over all plot of the show.

Was hard to tell where she kissed him... Cheek seems more appropriate considering the first minutes of the show.

You guys need to stop visiting tumblr. The writers aren't writing a Don/April romance, she kissed him to make him feel better. She did the same thing in Season 1.

No, you don't kiss someone to make him feel better in this type if situation and say "You're my mutant".

The other times April has kissed Donnie was to thank him ("Target April O'Neal) and out of pure emotion, thanks, and gratitude (Lonely Mutation of Baxter Stockman).

I will admit that I haven't seen the ep, only going by the storyboards. A girl wouldn't say/do that if she wasn't partially interested. The whole tone is romantic in nature.

Bottom line, there was no reason or need to kiss him.

These same writers obviously weren't going to mutate Karai either according to you because that was common sense.
