Theaters don't just play the movies for free and give the studios all of the money? I thought they were running a charity. Do you think they might consider making an exception for OotS?

Adapting the source material seems to be working for every other movie studio producing comic book films. I'm betting Viacom will get the hint and steer this in a better direction. Here's hoping.

But now its too late. They might as well wait a good 10 years for these movies to be forgotten and after the Nick cartoon ends.

As they say, "The damage was done."

I have to agree they are going to have to wait a few years, but then again Spider-man keeps churning out films left and right

Because Sony has to or they'd lose the license. Viacom can wait.

Yup. Angsty. That's exactly what Powder and I said. Thanks, Z.

15 years ago when I was a teenager I was quite an angsty fiend. I spent all my younger teenage years ranting on videogame websites like IGN, gamefaqs, etc. about Nintendo and Playstation and Pokemon.

You guys should have seen what I was like 15 years ago when I was well...15.

Yeah, you're still really ****ing annoying. Have been since 09, at least. As per my memory.

What I wouldn't give for them to be portrayed as their would-be real life age (if we consider their first sketch or comic release as their birth) and hopefully then be encouragement to write them a bit more serious.

Not that as adults they have to be dark and brooding all the time... adults are still capable of experiencing joy and being a kid at heart, which TMNT could still be BUT adults also have to face tough things sometimes. Just make the humor more witty and sophisticated. Limit it to a few Mikey pranks, not body functions.

Don't think we could get ever it with some of these types of film makers though. Basically, we can't have people with similar mindsets who are Michael Bay or Johnny Knoxville sorts of the world producing legitimately grown up films. They're best sticking to making films for their fellow man children and not abusing properties to fit their need.

What happened in '09? Was that when I was endlessly complaining about Turtles Forever not having the original voices for the 80's Turtles? I know I went on a rant for months about that before the movie came out.

Now I don't mind though.

I don't think this is the reason for ToTheNines because as far as I know he's not much into games, but what I remember you doing in 2009 is being ****ing incessant and intolerable over the music in the Turtles in Time remake.

Well as you know I complain about things and then move on. The last year or so was about Turtle nostrils. Who knows what it'll be a few years from now?

I thought it was either that or that some of you have literally been reading my posts for a decade. Tothenines reg date is 2007, so he's literally been reading my posts for a decade now since he was like a 15-16 year old teenager.

Its funny that some of us have been around for so long we've been reading each others posts for like 10 years. I've been annoying some people since they were teens and now they're like 25-30 year olds.

You mean like how you've "moved on" from turtle nostrils?
