Is there any way we can pull this conversation back on track without resorting to calling each other names again?

Anyway, my problem with FF has been that I still can't figure out why it was started. Do I have a problem with it? Not particularly from what I've seen of the series. I prefer 2k3, but I can't say I'd turn down the chance to watch FF if it were on.

I really do wish that we could make our own version of Fast Forward. As I mentioned in another thread, before I heard that it was going to be bright and cheerful, I had this image of a very grim future in mind. Not like Don's SAINW future, but something that was going down a similar road in terms of pollution, control, and that sense of all hope is lost. I guess with that image firmly in place, it really did effect how I thought of Fast Forward when I saw the first episode. Such a strong contrast to what I had envisioned.
