Fast foward is terrible. I mean I tried to enjoy it but it was just not as good as 2k3 series.

Also I am thinking of buying the fast foward dvd becuase I never even seen the first episode. I only seen a couple of the last few.

I hated it initially, but bought the volume one DVD and after giving it half a chance, it's not bad. It way not be on the level of 2k3, but there are far worse action cartoons out there.

Did we really need yet another thread asking us of our opinion on FF?

Ditto. There are too many threads like this.

I really, really don't like it. ANd I went into the thing with a lot of optimism that I would love it, and I came out of it feeling very disillusioned. I'm sorry other may like it but FF just isn't doing it for me, and I feel rather cheated as a TMNT fan.

as you can see the fans are split over this one lol
Me when I first saw it I thought it was ok simply because we finally got something differnt than angry leonardo every episode, them fighting shredder every episode, or fighting karai every episode.
But after finally getting to see everything since buying the dvd it's become one of my favorite tmnt even if it isn't the best I really like the characters allot and find the humor that was missing in the 2k3 series now to be there atleast a little more anways.
I used to deffend it all the time because of it simply being a tmnt show but I no longer care what anyone else thinks I like it and I'm not here to change anyones opinions on anyone or anything.

Yeha, and FF's one of them. There is nothing, NOTHING, redeemable about this, it's as generic and as badly written as Camp Lazlo and Fosters. It does'nt take advantage of anything. It's "comfort food" television. I don't know what Laird was thinking when he approved the lighter touches, they could have made this Batman Beyond or Phantom 2040, and they pulled a "Smurfs: Lost In Time", or a "Incredible Hulk and She-Hulk", and the entire first season of the 1990's Fantastic Four. In contrast to what shows are doing now, The Batman, KND, Jake Long (don't like it, but it has had some seriously compelling story arcs at times), and other shows that TMNT spearheaded in it's earlier seasons, it is, objectivly, a huge step back.

It's embarassing to see fans stand up to this really, I just think there lowering their tastes, and when the series gets back to the levels it used to be, if ever, they'll admit that watching FF was just out of sheer fan loyalty.

Even if theis wasn't connected to the 2K3 series, I would still hate this show.

The animation is horrid and the style and tone make it worse, the characters have lost all the maturity they've gained, and Cody and Serling are terribley remniscent of the annoying sidekicks of the 1980's.

I don't hate it. I like some of the new villians. Not crazy about the bright colors and I think it could be a lot better . Aside from that the show isn't that bad. I still wouldn't go out of my way to watch it. I only do that with shows I genuinely enjoy, like the 2K3 version.

I've only seen one episode, so I'm not gonna vote, but based on that one episode it seemed okay… no where near as good as it was. Honestly, though, every show is bound to fall off eventually if it sticks around long enough and I'd rather have something like this that is separate from the original and doesn't taint it's legendary greatness.

thanks for pretty much summing up my thoughts on the whole FF thing. Its not so much that FF sucks (although it pretty much does in my opinion) its the fact that they took a well written, mature good quality show and turned it into a cookie-cutter saturday cartoon. I haven't liked an American cartoon as much as this one since Mighty Max and Gargoyals and I'm not happy that its been watered down.

Yeah, I've stated my opinion on this many times, but in leui of me typing this over and over again, I'll just say...

I agree with Zarius. Every single thing he says about FF.

...until he starts liking it, or something.

I would go into my trademark rant on how much it has deteriated, but I'm like Jo and not going to bother. Zarius has everything down on this one. Basically, if they had a better story line and artwork, I would be a bit happier. Then if they throw those bad jokes out, that part of my soul that was taken away when I saw Fast Forward might return...

I don't think Zarius will ever like FF. And if he does I would have lost faith in humanity...

I persoanly wouldn't mind FF if it was temporary and if it was done in the same way as the previuos seasons of of the orginal 2k3 series (as well as the orginal 2k3 animation style). And if They incorporated some of volume four stroy line into it.

you're really gonna have to learn some day zarius to take you're own advice and see that not everyone likes the same things.
I also find it insulting that you would say that about fans. How about you sticking up for Lawson all the time and acting childish and stooping to the level of calling people names because of it?
There is a difference between having an opinion and being down right disrespectful of others minds. You Sir take the cake and smoosh it all over peoples faces.
My entire family sits an watches fosters together btw & the kids love it.
You know kids shows can be fun because these shows are for kids in the first place not us the older fans or you forgeting the 80's turtle cartoon we all love so much which is silly and wacky more than anything.
And nope I actully do like the show believe what you want to because I know you will anyways.
But I actully do like the ideas yes the could have been done better but the basic concepts of evil tmnt is something that should have been done years ago.
