Hardly, it's been going on for years, even when the show had a comfortable future. I'd say it's the culmination of years of tension combined with the last three years of indecision.

The days I had to spend months tearing fans against Laird apart in the comics over minor things like April' true origin and Laird's politics? I won't defend the company now for how they've handled things....this is stuff we SHOULD have complained about, but were too busy nit-picking at the little things

To be honest, I would not be surprised by the show ending here, but we have been in the position before where the show's future was undetermined. It's a double edged sword, but one edge is definitely sharper than the other.

Can someone please give me an address for 4kids.tv or WB or SOMEBUDDY who made this desion??

I wrote a letter to have the lost season aired two years ago. Now I don't know if writting a letter made a difference, but I"m desperate!!

I'm think it would take more than just that but perhaps if allot of letters came in to Peter & Gary and the others you just listed it may help a bit.

I don't know what to think any more. I don't want it to end, I would like at least one more season, but at this point I think I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the the rest of this season that is on and just be grateful that the turtles made it home in their own time before the series was put to bed. So far I'm enjoying what I'm seeing and I want to see another season of BTTS, but I'm not going to get excited until the very end. I'm going to keep thinking posetively.

The thing that worries me is not that the show will end after this season, but that Mirage's business partners will be spooked into jumping ship before May over this news, making the franchise forego the bang yet again to instead go out with the all-too-familliar whimper.
