The guy in the hood on the second cover has some gnarly teeth. It seems like another mutant to me.

For some reason he reminds me of Mondo Gecko, who wore a similar cloak/hood in his first appearance in the original cartoon.

Really glad that the Peterson cover has been released. I had a problem with April's nose on the Zarcone

Petersen's cover is great as usual! It's weird, the round headed turtles kind of remind me of Lawson's turtles a la '89-'90 (End of Tales Vol. 1, Return To New York, etc.).

Yet, the scene itself feels very Fred Wolf. A strange mix of nostalgia!

Petersen draws them right. Many styles suit the Turtles well, but his stuff is so old-school, and it feels so right.

Aha, that Peterson cover is fantastic. Wish the colors were a little more bold, but I suppose as it is we're better able to enjoy the lines. Good stuff.

Given I didn't have a job to be able to consider going for the Splinter cover, and now that I do have employment, I might aim for the April cover

I really like Cover A for the April O'Neil issue. The look on April's face is priceless.

Looking forward to reading a story from her perspective.

i agree... peterson's covers are always amazing. this april issue cover A is no exception. and incorporating the turtles into the cover with her as the centerpiece is brilliant. i can't wait for this issue... and i actually prefer this cover over zarcone's. poor turtles (especially donatello) look miserable. it's ok... they can always ninja kick the damn car door open. again... brilliant cover!

Actually, Petersen's cover has an odd SiP (by Terry Moore) vibe to it... not sure... April's expression reminds me of that series.

I read through the comics again and noticed that Raph has a simular coat/hoodie on as th creepy guy on the April cover. I'm more inclined to believe it is another turtle now then I was before.

i thought his splinter cover was equally great. i didnt care for the casey cover, but this one more than makes up for it. his april cover is spectacular.

Glad you guys are looking forward to this! I'm the colorist for the issue and it was a lot of fun to do. I've always been a fan of Marley's stuff so I was happy to get the chance to color her lines. I actually came across this forum because the experience made me want to revisit the turtle comics. (slowly but surely making my way through the Mirage and IDW books now) So I'll try to stick around and get up to date.

Any coloring samples you can show us (if not of TMNT, then something else?)? I'm a big fan of the coloring world.
