Hogan is the greatest of all time since wrestling, like you've said, is about star power and no one tops Hogan in that department. And speaking of Hogan, contrary to popular belief, he wasn't terrible in the ring. That being said, I've never been a fan of Hogan. |

Is Edge > Christian an unpopular opinion? I thought everyone ever likes Edge better. I can't stand Christian anymore, nor Miz. And I think Kofi Kingston should have the WWEWHC title even for a day.

I think the Daredevil director's cut is a pretty good movie.
Masters of the Universe was an underrated 80s sci-fi classic. Yes, it did a lot of Star Wars riffs, but it also deeply paid homage to Jack Kirby's "Fourth World" saga (the portal the Cosmic Key opens up to other worlds is, essentially, a Boom Tube; Skeletor being a pretty clear Darkseid stand-in, etc.). That was done on purpose, and I think when people take that into account - which, admittedly, not many would think to without knowing to look for it, but still - it adds a new angle to the movie. I think people got way too hung up on how different it was from the cartoon. I'm so mad we never got that sequel. People forget, that was one of the first movies to have a well-known "stinger" at the end of the credits, teasing the sequel (which, sadly, never got to be). I still remember that going over huge in the theater when I was a kid. |

Agreed there Leo, I love MOTU. It was distinctly darker than the cartoon at the time, full of stuff that stuck with and shaped me as a kid into the adult I am now. And that post-credits scene scared the pants off of me at the time.
The Van Damme Street Fighter movie and the Stallone Judge Dredd movie are likewise great entertainment value that I think history is already being kinder to as the years go by. I recently watched a fanedit of the latter that scaled back a lot of the more evident problems in the film and it's a more pleasant ride...plus you have to appreciate it for packing in so much of the franchise lore in that amount of time. I can't fault anything that has ABC, Mean Machine Angel, the Cursed Earth, and Rico crammed into the mix. It juggled a lot and juggled it well and you won't quite find films that bonkers again unless it's, say, a Marvel flick, and even those don't quite get it right. |

I thought both Spider-Man 3 and X-Men: The Last Stand were decent superhero movies. Not as good as Spider-Man 2 or X2, but better than people say.

During the 90s and early 2000s, I found MADtv funnier and much more entertaining than Saturday Night Live.

Hate it. Just like the chicks. And the wife loves it, so I have to see it. But if it were legal to shoot a person in the face just for being super-f*cking-annoying, Ashton Kutcher would be right near the top of my list. Not just for that show, for pretty much everything.
There's another fairly unpopular opinion. I can't stand that guy. Justin Timberlake, either. |

I also hate modern sitcoms like That 70's Show, How I Met Your Mother, all that sort of thing. Give me old stuff like Golden Girls, or give me death! I hate King of the Hill and Family Guy and Modern Dad or whatever it's called. Even worse... I hate The Simpsons. I know, I'll be burnt at the stake for saying that - I know I'm guilty of using Simpsons references purely because it's so ingrained in modern pop culture and I watched it growing up, but I just reached the point where it was no longer funny, and now I can't even enjoy the older seasons because of it. I also detest Armageddon, despite the fact that it's generally considered to be one of Bay's better films. I found it trite, formulaic, and the idea of anyone shoving animal crackers down my panties just makes me itchy to think about it!

I HATE That 70's Show. I'm glad that I no longer watch or have a set up TV just so I never see that trash.
My other unpopular opinions... I think Game of Thrones is overrated. Oh wow, a bunch of medieval people battle some other group then sit around and boink each other. How exciting. I hate Walking Dead, I tried reading the comics and could not get past the part of Rick's wife being pregnant. The survivors act like turds, I have more sympathy for the zombies, which seem to have more humanity then the survivors do, and that's saying a lot. The only Super Mario Brothers I liked was the movie, and some of the episodes of the cartoon. I do not care for the video games. |

^^ Actually - and knowing only a tiny little bit about The Walking Dead - as I understand it, pretty much the entire point is that the humans are the real monsters of the situation. So apparently you get it, even if you're not into it.

Here is one of my opinions that would be considered weird in general but I think around here might actually be appreciated by a lot. Mark Hamill is EASILY the BEST JOKER OF ALL TIME. FOREVER. Heath Ledger is an OK Joker but not NEARLY as cool as Hamill's. Hamill nails the laugh and the fun of what I think the Joker is. Ledger was more for Nolan fanboys that don't have a long history with Batman.
Also Bane was handled absolutely disgracefully! The voice. The stupid mask thing. The militant vibe they went for. All of it was just so ridiculous. I hate when characters get totally butchered which is why I hate the thought of a certain movie that is coming up which will remain anonymous but is being produced by a man whose last name rhymes with "gay". I'm just gonna leave it at that because a comment about him might be "explosive". Oops have I said too much?

Also, if you want to talk unpopular opinions - I'm gonna go ahead and say that Ledger's Joker is vastly overrated and really isn't all that.

I like Jeff Jarrett better than Ric Flair. I honestly think his work looked better. I also think the way he booked himself on top the first few years in TNA was 100% justified, since he was literally the only guy he could trust with the Title and not abandon ship for Vince for more money.
^^^Saying stuff like that can get you killed, in some places. The Carolinas, for example. |

As far as Bane, he's a mercenary, so the military vibe worked for me. I thought the mask was cool, and worked for the vibe of the films, since there wasn't actually any Venom being pumped into him. I would have preffered the luchador mask and the actual Venom of course. In my opinion, I think he had some cold ass lines in the film too. Though, all of that may actually be an unpopular opinion.
