At least TMNT growing up were somewhat humany. I wanted my first boyfriend to be Simba. A lion. Also Cheetor. Robit/Cheetah. I grew up fine.

Erm, yeah... wish I knew back then that I was entirely normal for harboring a crush... Kids have it so easy now, just jump online and find confirmation that something is not just them.

I swear, I was safe with the Nick series that brought me back to the fandom, they're adorable but they're just a bunch of kids. Almost old enough to be their mother (damn I'm old). Though my younger self long ago could understand young girls no doubt still crushing on them today. lol

Oh, man, I'm cracking up so much as I read this thread. I seriously don't feel that they need underwear. Yeah, Mikey wore it in the Nick show, but that was just for laughs. However, I have a feeling that in the movie, the Turtles will be wearing their clothes full time throughout, and I just hate the idea of that. Really makes me think the writers were just doing this so they could make the Turtles look more "hip" by today's standards or something like that. It just disgusts me honestly.

I wished they were grownups in this version, I would have loved to see a ninja turtle movie when they weren't teenagers. But oh well

Got their own lives going, to what extent they can make a life of their own...and then bad stuff happens, well, because welcome to planet Earth where a hero's work is never done.

If they'd have only left "teen" out of the dialogue then people could just take or ignore the title as they wish, but nooo... lol (Well, I do honestly take them as adults, but still.)

Overall I am really tired of viewing the same stuff over and over again, I want to see something fresh and new. This would have been such an interesting concept to go with.

Same here omg :3 The Nick turtles are adorable, but these Bay turtles are rippling with muscles and they're tall and massive...I mean, their faces are creepy and they got kind of an uncanny valley look to them, but still! The muscles ^_^

I hope if they bring in Casey later on, he'll be a cutie like Elias Koteas in the first movie.

I agree! I'm tired of seeing the same storylines and April fainting/freaking out seeing them for the first time. It's getting old. I find the turtles' lives more interesting when they're older, and I'd love to see Shadow finally appear in a movie, possibly bringing her uncles back together after Splinter's death.
