Now that you mentioned it...

All the turtles have some sort of loin piece covering their front crotch. Pretty sure it's to cover the shape of their groin rather than leaving them bare like that as it could be distracting.

I guess now I can see how the clothing made sense in that way. That's why they wear clothes in the first place ..

Yeah, and with as high as the shells sit it's questionable if it covers enough down yonder... maybe equal chance of it being an easy fix as much as a fashion statement?

I saw a disturbing pic over on Tumblr showing that exact thing.

Why am I not surprised.

I'm still kinda new in terms of modern TMNT fan art - other than Nick gifs I prob didn't start looking at much until around the time I joined this forum - and the fact that you can unintentionally come across things that make this thread look incredibly innocent... Nope nope do not want. Raph in his hint of undies is just fine and plenty enough. lol

If this stuff stayed around the way cave painting, hieroglyphics, etc have... I hate to think what future people would think.

I know what you mean. I come across stuff that, it's just got me "What's wrong with you f**king people. They're brothers for crying out loud. Ugh!"

World's more sicker than we'd like it to be.

I kinda don't care much for the tcest thing since they are biologically animals, and incest happens among animals all the time.

It's when people do fan arts of incest among humans that creeps me to no end. For example, my skin crawls whenever I accidentally stumbled upon fan art of Anna x Elsa from Frozen, a sister on sister love relationship. Now that is truly sick.

Yeah, that stuff... wtffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff...

To me, nah.. maybe not quite human but they still count as people in my eyes no matter their origins so that's just.. noooooooo... Human intelligence so pretty much human on the inside and they'd prob be horrified if they were real and saw that. So much fetish fan art these days, for them and everything else. >.<

Though we're not defined as simply as animals.

We have very big brains; we are good at thinking, remembering, calculating, imagining, speaking. Other species can communicate, but no other species has true language with open-ended grammar. No other species has literature, music, art, mathematics or science. No other species makes books, or complicated machines such as cars, computers and combine harvesters. No other species devotes substantial lengths of time to pursuits that don’t contribute directly to survival or reproduction.

But yeah, due to mutation, Raph's brain is as big as ours and he can now wear underwear. I don't label him as humans but I reckon he's a mix between animal and human attribute.

I find it a bit ironic it's being led by an intellectually inclined grasshopper.

In terms of the models, like most other fictional media stars I doubt the poor things have any more than a Ken doll. lol Poor guys... we can just assume they're normal Earthlings... and not junkless aliens. lol

Hey, it's their own fault for giving them all pants - clearly they've got something to cover up and we have cuuuuurious minds!

Aww, c'mon- you KNOW you're curious! And I suddenly had a really dirty mental image of him doing a strip-tease..... Yeah, my mind went there.
I meant for the third movie... and speaking of fanart, this is reminding me of some stuff I saw the other day where the boys were pole-dancing. The conversation in this thread is babes-in-the-wood type stuff compared to some of the art and fics a-lurking out there in the intertubes. Ah, blessed, twisted internet... don't ever change.

Well, by your definition here, then the TMNT are human, and so, it would be disturbing to see certain fanfiction/art.

I think most of us (girls) had crushes on the turtles as kids. Now that we've grown up, our natural curiosity has taken over :3

Megan probably encouraged the writers to make Mikey more flirtatious with April

I wonder though, could they get away with April in this movie being flirty and lovey dovey with the boys. Aren't the boys supposed to be like 16ish? I'm just saying, might cause an uproar amongst some people.
