But, guess what, I enjoyed the new movie. Past their face appearances, I appreciate their height differences. Mikey is the "youngest", so I like him being the little one. Plus, Raph's huge! Talk about muscles. Yeah!

So, any new designs with the Turtles, bring it on.

I was referring to someone who asked why the studios just don't hire fans to help with comic book movies in general and the fact still remains that it's not always in the film's best interest to cater so much to the fans when you have to literally try to please a bigger audience as well.

Oh yeah, I'm not advocating for only listening to fans (though in fairness, a lot of today's pros started as fans of the properties they work on), but if a franchise has been around and popular for decades, going into it with a "how can we fix this?" kind of attitude is pretty idiotic. By all means try to make it the best, most accessible version you can, but if you're trying to completely alter it on a conceptual or basic design level, your head is not in the right place. And that's exactly where they came from when they started developing this thing. That was their first instinct.

Lets see. Leo's and Donny's faces in the new movie are alright. Maybe make the other two similar. Tone down the bulky sizes of Leo, Mikey and Raph, tone down the tech gear and get rid of the glasses on Donny, and get rid of some of the other crap like sunglasses on Raph, shoes, excessive clothing, and we might have something.

I'd like to know as well. I've said over and over again my reasons for wanting "realism", but if you're not going that direction, and you didn't do Henson, is there anotther version that you would accept in live action, or are most of you just "nit picking" elements.

I mean, the actors hardly look exactly like the humans in the comics... the humans are just representations of what people look like, or the idea of a person. Imagine trying to recreate the humans in Mirage or OT or 2003 to be exact cg versions of those drawings. It would look, very strange, and definitely not realistic.

More slender/athletic looking as opposed to body builder. Really, I think if they go this route, then we will get a pretty good ideal of what a traditional/realistic looking TMNT would look like without looking so grotesque.

So, basically, if they'd looked exactly like the OT/2k3, but in the real world, everyone would have been satisfied.

So ya'll wanted this, but TMNT? 100% faithful to the source, but rendered in 3 dimensions.

def get rid of the clothes and clutter...and while i admit the leo or donnie look is better im not saying if thats what they gave me id have loved it 100% just a happy medium as opposed to the shrek face or giant monster raph

and no not like sponge bob...you can do realistic mutant turtles without making them human faced or cartoony..many fans have done it for years with fan art

i feel those are the best realistic representation of tmnt..and with a small bit of tweaking (texture and skins and more money, and a non video game world) they could be awesome
