I doubt it, Bebop and Rocksteady have personalities.

Never in a million years. Not even Platinum Dunes would make that mistake.

Depends... will they have the required lips?

I'm sure they'll likely be speaking, but will they be smart with serious dialogue or just bumbling lackeys.

A pig without nostrils. That's like a doughnut without a hole in it.

We have not heard any news about them in a while. If we do not hear any casting news soon, do you think they will only appear at the end as a plot device for a possible third film?

Or 'Krapfen'.
Anyway, if red-eared sliders/box turtles mutate to 6'+, how big do street punks get if mutated with warthogs or rhinos?

They'll likely be 8 ft tall at least. Rocksteady possibly more so.

I mean, we've got to keep some semblance of realism, this is a Ninja Turtles movie, we can't blow scale way out of proportion. Haha

Well, this news was inevitable. I guess if Krang's not in this one, he'll be in the next one for sure.

I'm sure they will have a look less thug and more warrior. Something that comes close to this :

Those are Peter Laird's concept drawings for Bebop/Rocksteady from the planning phase of the characters. Contrary to what people think, Peter Laird created Bebop/Rocksteady when Playmates asked for some mutant villains.

Why would anyone hate their own creation?

Because the Fred Wolf cartoon was such a deviation from the source material that Laird cared about. Didn't stop him from raking in the $$$ though (as was his right).
