I dont' really see any "ballerina" pose, it's a pretty basic high fantasy/romantic Kung-Fu movie pose with the leg up and pointing the sword horizontal outwards

Their knee pads look....funny. A bit bulky but it doesn't annoy me enough to hate the designs. I really need to see the characters moving to be able to properly decide. I really wish a larger version of that picture existed so I could get a better look.

I prefer my turtles short and stocky.

The Nick design got nothing on the 2k3 designs on bulky-ness, especially seeing them from the side. They are like walking fridge gears of war sized
