On Rob Paulsen's latest podcast last Friday, he mentioned that there is still no official release date nor any more information that he has already given us, though they did have a recording session today, so the project is coming along, but mentioned that it's up to Nick when they release the info to the media. Stay tuned, he even mentioned that Hoon Lee will do one of the best Splinters you've ever heard!

Where can we see these Podcast? Has it been hinted we could get other returning voices? I would like to here James Avery and Townsend Coleman do something with the TMNT again if not their definitive voices.

Not happening. Rob had told Cam not to even bother auditioning cuz Nick wouldn't even consider him or any other previously used VA. I think Avery is pretty much retired.

Really? They only let Rob because he did Back on The Barnyard for them and that is it? I thought I read that they were fair in evaluating ever audition which included several previous vocie actors beside Rob,but the others were not what they were looking for. This makes no sense! I still don't see why they hired Biggs considering the American Pie credit he is most known for. That is just me though.

And because he's a legend in his field. Actually, I've been looking for the quote here on the boards where someone told us that Rob told Cam not to audition because Nick wanted to go in a different direction, but all I could find was this.

I still don't see why say Townsend Coleman could not do Rat King on a reoccuring basis for example. A good strategy would be have the door open for them. "Little things" like previous voice actors from either toon are great for us and make it all the more interesting. Biggs over Clarke? What is Nick thinking?

I do agree with you and Jester in that Rob is the best of his generation of voice actors. Ignoring the characters they did I am a fan of his,Townsend's,
and Avery's as VAs. VAs are overlooked by people and its a shame.

Yeah, this kind of worries me. We still don't know the status of his weapon, we've been told he would use both but so far every promo pic they are nowhere to be seen. I have a feeling Nick doesn't want to get caught up in the "nunchucks are illegal" business. At least in IDW he has the chucks.

What is the theory on the blades on the nunchucku handle and bo staff end? I assume its retractable and that it is for bashing mousers and foot soliders who we could therorize are robots again?

Yikes, they all look strange especially Leo. I wish Raph wasn't always colored as the "dark turtle" of the bunch. Not sure why they started coloring him the dark green in 2k3 and that has stuck. In the original toon they were all the same color, but in the toys, Raph was a lighter green, compared to the shade they have Leo colored in the pic. I prefer that color for him over the darker green.

I'm gonna have to reserve final judgement until I see the turtles in action on tv, each screen cap gives me a little different notion on how I feel on these designs, I'm still on the fence on their design, and this pic certainly didn't help

I will watch it regardless as long as the story is good, but I really hope they don't consistently look like that pic and jump around in awkward ballerina poses

Have not thought of it like that!

If it were me they would have different color mask but the same tone fo green.

Seriously....I completely agree. And yep, I'll continue to say it. <begin rant> The 3 toes look is straight up awful. Not sure why they have huge round paw/feet. The classic looking feet are way more streamlined and 'athletic' looking....the new feet just make them look clumsy and slow. <end rant>
