Ok, sorry, this will be my last post in this thread.

Although i posted a lot, I have not been here nearly as long as anyone else here. Also, I really wanted to deal with her on this, but it's a shame she isn't replying, and now I get a warning? I even said sorry for bringing it up...Please don't give me a warning and it will never happen again, promise.

Tokka, if you break the rules, you get a warning. No exceptions. If you don't post any more offensive messages about Kyabetsu and don't break any more rules, I'll take it away eventually.

Okay, to get back on topic, I uploaded a bunch of art work onto my site. Well, only one or two pictures are actually related to TMNT, and those are RP related, but I've got a bunch of art from my comic-in-progress Animal Instinct. I'd really appriciate some feedback on it, specifically the layout and lettering of the comic pages.

Well, I finally broke down and bought me a set of Prismacolor "professional" colored pencils. I haven't quite gotten the hang of them, gotta revisit a few of those tutortials, but they sure are fun to play with. Pretty, vibrant colors. Plus some sketches of Kali's new tie-dye look from the RP. And some misc. stuffs.
www.geocities.com/kaligargoyle/artmain.html - in case you wanted to skip my rant on Cristmas presents and Chris Hart books. And since there are so many pictures this week, there may be a bandwidth overload, and in that case, just wait a few hours. Man, I can't wait 'til I get my own domain.

Oh, and P.S. This is a note for the Dia de los... players. I'm trying to make up a floor plan for our RP lair, so any help in figuring out where the rooms and such are would be of big help.

Oh, wow...Those are awesome, Kali! Your coloring is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen! Can't wait to see more!

Hmm...I should really think about getting my own webspace, for my random things. But, of course, I'm to lazy to play with HTML.

Peace!

Thanks, Chibi! Heh, I was gonna wait to see if anyone else was gonna reply, but... I would say the same thing about your coloring, wait, I already have!

About the web page, you should, at least before the Fan Art Awards roll around next year... er, this year. A simple list and links to the pictures work well enough, no need for fancy stuff. HTML ain't that hard, I used to use a page builder, but basic code is kinda fun once you get the hang of it. Here's the tutorial I use http://www.annabella.net/html.html
(A tip I give out is to keep a blank link template in the code. It won't show up on the page and you can refer to and copy it whenever you need it.)

Oh.. kali! I must say your style has improved with the use of your new art toys! I also like what you can do with the Prima-color's. They are tricky to use, especially with it comes to blending. But you dealt with that well!

My only pointer... you should try saving your scanned art at a higher resolution, or a higher quality JPEG, Kali. The recent set of pics posts had that low-quality JPEG fuzz about them. But if it's cuase you're trying to not gobble up so much web-space, I'll understand.

Yah! You should look into a website, Chibi! HTML is not to hard, but then there's many cheater methods to get around it. (I still prefer the HTML though.) I also recommend this Webmonkey site too.

It's partially because of that, partially because of that's how I learned. I've been scanning my stuff at 72 dpi because that's what I read (somewhere) was a good size for web publishing pictures. It worked for me, since I'd been doing it really high and having to resize was a pain. But if you can suggest a good resolution or anything, I'd be glad to hear it.

Yeah, the flame-tipped bandanna! I think it's a very cool drawing.

Yeah, I've been told that too, usually for photos and other things. Dunno if you have Photoshop, but that program lets you save an image that was scanned at 72 res, as a high quality level JEPG. I find a lower quality JPEG looks fuzzy in comparison to ah high quality one.

For art wark, it's usally better to scan this at a higher res (like around 100), or just save it at a higher level JPEG so it looks nice and crisp like an animation cell. At least this is what I found if you ever scan in inked lines to be computer colored.
