So, according to stuff we've already seen and stuff that has been alluded to, Raphael, has been the subject of many discontempt. But, with the fact that now, he is the last Turtle seen without his mask, and looks to be the last Turtle (or major character so far in itself) shown to have any

, could it be that the creators are going by that old saying, saving the "best" for last, scenario? Or is it all just coincidental?

I am particularly interested in this whole dark

This can grow to be a defining moment in the chapter of Nick's TMNT toon, or it could stray and make a mockery of things. It's so hard to tell sometimes.

Its probably a sexual attraction thing, fangirls always want to see their favorite Turtles, "naked" so to speak.

We almost! Thanks to Ciro & co for teasing us, we only know Mikey commented that Raph looks terrible without his bandana, and not showing us what Mikey actually saw or how terrible it could be

Eh, I took it as just a brotherly quibble (like in the first episode when Raph was playing MutagenRoulette, and the dude could turn out handsome, like himself, or ugly and disgusting like Mikey)

Or, maybe there is also a scar that the mask is hiding? Hmmm?

Yeah it's probably brotherly quibble. Look at Raph expression when Mikey says it's "way better" for Raph to have his bandana back on

After the panel, I went up to the booth and asked Ciro if he had ever read the archie comics and if so, was Armaggon coming. He said Armaggon IS coming.

I bet when the episode airs it will have a ton of references to the movie Jaws.

Feels like I'm the only one that actually wants Armaggon, and not just Xever with a new look. I still say he's the perfect villain for Renet since they share the time travel motif.

I could only see two possibilities for Xever, either he get double-mutated or demutated altogether. He just isn't very interesting to stay a fish forever.

But I hope we get an ep that he truly kickbutt as FishFace before anything happens to him, probably in an underwater setting for instance. He never really shined before, not even in his debut as a mutant in The Pulverizer, since it isn't really that convenient for a fish to live on land despite having the breathing gears and artificial legs. He could be a really formidable opponent underwater (but so does turtles, we'll see

)

I agreed that mutating Xever again into Armaggon would feel like a total waste. It would more inventive to start with a whole new character (possibly a villain) instead of having him as just another mutant henchman on Shredder's block.

Or you know.... an already established shark mutant... from the future... that works with Shredder but nor for Shredder...

Armaggon isn't the kind to take crap and to follow orders either.

Armaggon isn't the kind to take crap and to follow orders either.

What I mean is not having to go through a origin story again like the other mutants but crash in as he is. He can team up with Shredder sometimes but at the same time, he can have his own faction like the kraang.

True. Which is why it works to have Renet deal with an already established Armaggon in the future.

Or is it all just coincidental? I am particularly interested in this whole dark Spoiler: Raph. If they say it's going to be based on the City Fall arc, I wonder who it's going to be that Raphael speaks to in his dream? He's not exactly a reincarnated soul in this version, and he never met Tang Shen, but I wonder if Tang Shen's love for Splinter has gone on in an after life scenario, and she communicates to Raphael out of her love for Splinter?
