So because it's happened before from other people, it's ok that it happened again?

How about just not doing it that way, just because 'it's been done before'? Don't repeat what others did before you? Or learn from others' past mistakes?

And we agree to disagree on that other statement you made. I don't think that tiny appearance in Metalhead Rewired was as Significant as you make it out to be. To each their own. To me, the whole thing was a Cop Out.

It was a pretty big cameo.

I think Slash and the Turtles were force with "The enemy of my enemy is my freind." It makes sense to me any way.

Uh, yeah it is okay.

Because despite your belief, it's not a mistake.

If you want to bash these writers for doing that, just go ahead and bash every single writer on Earth, because it is done all the time.

Once again, we agree to disagree. And sorry, but not Every Single Writer on Earth has done that. And even when that kind of stuff is done, I think it can be handled a LOT better than it was handled here. I just think it was a lazy, too easy, way too Quick, and bottom line a cop out way to handle the Slash character (as well as that entire situation). And yes, if I think the writers 'did a bad job' then of course I'd say so. What, should I say 'hey I think you did a great job even though I don't?'

If you disagree, that's fine. A lot of people were fine with it. I wasn't. That's pretty much it.

Anyways good episode, good to see Slash isn't all bad, he just wants to take the bad guys down in ways the Turtles can't since they're kid's heroes and all. Did not like the rokka rokka rokka garbage. It didn't fit in with the savage growling from the last episode. I don't think he ever used that same growl once,
I like his videos. He is up there with the critic and AVGN imo.

Okay...what makes you personally think it was lazy the way they handled it?

Because you sound like you're of the impression that Slash was evil, which he was not. Slash when it came to Raph was misguided based on what Raph had said over and over again about his brothers, and when he set out to do what he believed Raph wanted, Raph made Slash out to be the bad guy and not Raph himself, he felt he was betrayed by Raph even though he did what Raph wanted which was to go on his own.

Raph trying to save Slash in "Slash & Destroy" is what is supposed to be remembered and the look Slash had on his face when he saw Raph running to save him.

So he was never evil, he was severely misguided by those who he trusted: both Raph and then Newtralizer.

The turtles did save Slash before
Slash was fighting the Kraang. So there's the at least pragmatism.
And frankly, I don't think Leo, Don, or Mikey would ever attack Slash with Raph being around them because Raph is still going to be fond of Slash no matter what.

So...almost like when Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader?

Never evil, was misguided, and then someone took him/used him/twisted him around and then he became the Vader that we all know.

How about Shredder doing the same thing to Slash? Taking him in, lying to him, twisting Slash's mind around, using him as a weapon against the Turtles and saying about 'how much they lied to you', or somehow finding stuff out and saying 'look at what he told you, he lied to you, didn't he?' or Any number of things...and THEN maybe/down the road Slash realizing and becoming an ally.

That's just one thing I thought of, just off the top of my head. Original? No. But something I find more interesting than this.

Once again, if you or others enjoyed it That's Fine! Nothing wrong with it. I didn't like the way it went, and I still stand by my opinions on it.

The issue with Slash is he never should have been Spike to begin with. If he was some evil whacked out Turtle that Shredder or Kraang brought out, I'd be fine with him being irredeeminably evil.

But with him being Spike... Raph's pal since episode one... I'm happy with Spike never forgetting that he was Raph's pal and having a chance to be at least less evil.

they don't need to attack Slash...but the boys could have at least been cautious around him. Noticeably cautious!

Going a step back....I don't think that cameo of him in Metalhead Rewired is enough buildup for him to turn good in the second episode featuring him.

Well we know 3/10 supposed dimensions.

I wonder why Newtralizer says Rocka rocka rocka a lot. Also how a terminator 2 homage with a new good guy cockroach terminator would play?
2007? Just so I can see Raph's alter-ego, Nightwatcher again.

I guess Mikey forgot that Slash smashed him into the ground and almost turned him into paste, then later on grabbed him, knocked him out and tied him up while almost throwing him off of a ledge to his death.

Even Donnie, when approaching Leatherhead, was worried that he'd be grabbed 'in the face' again. But his arm being broken (later to be put in a sling) and his face very bruised up? I guess that didn't matter much to him, lol.

see that's what I mean! How are the boys NOT traumatized by Slash!

they are more cautious around Leatherhead who might I add is actually their ally/friend! XD

The turtles were treating Raph horribly and were holding him back (according to Raph's endless bitching towards them). They needed to be taken out (according to Slash's twisted logic). What did normal humans ever do to Raph?
