I liked that as well, he's been using Raph's full name most of the time as well.

I may be wrong, but doesn't Splinter only use their full names?

Ah I forgot about Slash calling Raphael by his full name, my mistake. But I thought Splinter also called them by their shortened names? I dunno, maybe I'm going deaf...

That was a great episode, for me personally better than the previous episode.

I especially liked how much Casey has become part of the team. High fiving with the others (even Donatello) near the end, Raph being worried about his safety, and the others being annoyed/upset with Raph because he just let Casey walk away after their argument.

I really enjoyed the interaction between them.

It was great to see Slash again, as well as the Newtralizer, who seems to have been driven insane (at least to some extent) by the Kraang. Speaking of Kraang, they really need to upgrade their "Kraang bots" one day. They're just cannon fodder.

It's good to know Raph and Slash are on more friendlier terms now.

I was a little puzzled by Raph's attitude towards Casey, he was really in his face...and that "I'm not people" comment. I can understand why some find Nick Raph a little douchey, but I'm sure that there's more to it than that. I hope they will explore it more in future episodes

I thought it wax great how Casey rushed Slash to save Don, shows outside their 'rivalry' they do care for each other though Casey/April will be the dominant pairing as per tradition since they're a couple in 'The comics, 2k3, and the movies (are they together in the IDW comics?)

I don't see why that's a shock. Quite frankly even despite their relationships they have with April. Casey seems to have bonded with him slightly more than Raph. Hell, Casey did come to Donnie's defense when Slash laid him out.

The victory dance/stick trip in the previous episode seemed to me like just two buddies ribbing each other.

Personally I think Raph was just being frustrated. He's worried that one day he won't be able to save Casey in time if something goes wrong again. And Raph being Raph, he's showing his concerns in his own way.

He wants Casey as a teammate but also knows Casey isn't always able to keep up. They can both be stubborn and hot-headed, it seems it's their way of communicating.

Just my own interpretation, I could be way off.

I was thinking that as well, and maybe also worried that his brother might end up getting hurt/being in danger because of Caseys recklessness. But again, I hope they will explore it more, as they did a little bit in "Slash and Destroy" and "TGTB and Casey Jones"

To me it was just kinda boring. Slash was the only thing I really enjoyed...the rest was pretty much just another Kraang mission.

A pretty good episode that recaps and extends some of the previous info set by Slash and Newt. The 10 dimensions was the most interesting fact, opening up not only what the Nickverse consists of, but possibly the other universes. One of those 10 dimensions is Dimension Z where Mr. Ogg was in the OT. It had a clear hierarchy from total villain (Krang), the anti-Hero (Newt), the good-turned traitor-turned good again (Slash), to the true heroes (TMNT). The fighting was also quite strong, especially combining the Turtles' weapons with a new machine by the Kraang. Ice Cream Kitty even makes a cameo during the opening Lair scene. Outside of the Cowabunga, this was closer in tone to a 4kids as opposed to an OT episode, with some good Nickisms in there, although like others said doesn't feel too different from some other Kraang plots and it doesn't break any new ground with their story. While the Kraang had the best comedy, the Turtles' was a bit flat in this episode, and the pinball scene just lacked excitement; at least use common pinball terminology.

Overall: 7.5/10

It was cool seeing Slash and Newtralizer again but I didn't really care for the episode.

I really hate the way they write Raph sometimes. This episode was one of those times.

Cool Star Wars references (if that's what they were. I've had SW on the brain a bunch recently) - the AT-AT like weapon of the Kraang and Casey bringing it down like Luke/Death Star in EP IV.

Yeah, I liked Casey coming to Don's rescue as well. Their relation has definitely become better after the events in Wormquake. There's still that rivalry between them, but it's more a "playful" kind of rivalry. (Don's victory dance and Casey swiping him) Before Wormquake their rivalry definitely more hostile.

Yeah, you're right. I guess I shouldn't have been so surprised, but they definitely came a long way. I'm glad their rivalry is more a playful kind of rivalry, I like how they've developed the relation between Casey and Don so far.

You make a good point and I agree. Raph might also be worried for his brothers, but I do think he knows at least his brothers are trained/skilled enough to save themselves if needed. I definiterly hope as well they explore this angle of Casey's/Raph's relationship more one day.

The turtles likely know they need to keep a closer eye on Casey, but also know that Casey can make his own unique contributions and that he's aware of the risks yet still wants to be part of their team.

It does remind me a bit of Leonardo/Casey in 2k3, as the series progressed Leonardo (subtly) became more protective of Casey, with Casey not being a ninja he was more "vulnerable" yet still was a valuable friend and addition to the team.

This episode was definitely good but I agree it came off a bit short of being great...probably because it felt rather filler-y and nothing plot-centric was moved along.

Now THIS is a good episode. Much better than the DnD episode. Even if it is just another "stop Kraang plot"

Also notice how the jokes were better here than in the campier episodes.

If there's one thing that bugs me, which is more of a problem of the show itself, was showing that the villain was still. I mean this is like what, the 7th time a villain "rose from the ashes" by the end of the episode. I know this is a kids' show, but the turtles can't be assed to spend 5 minutes looking for the body?

Looking back, I think the main reason I liked this episode was because it had some nice character interaction. Raph and Casey, Raph and Slash, Slash and Newtralizer (I found it a nice touch that Slash does care about humans), Casey and the turtles in general, etc.

It was just enjoyable to watch which made me forget it was mainly a Kraang episode. (I usually don't like those) I even found the Kraang okay this time.
