I saw on Facebook that this guy got promoted as exectutive producer and head of the writing team for TMNT. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing.

It's not....

Almost all of the episodes that he did are ones that I don't like.

He's usually such a mediocre writer. But there are times where you see potential in his work...

Can't believe this show used to have Avatar writers on Season 1...

So he's pretty much a Steven Moffat in terms of story telling? Great concepts but clumsy at executions.

Eh, I disagree. He's had his ups and downs this season, but I think all the writers working on the show for S2 have. I feel that, while Season 1 was consistently good overall, season 2 has some lows and some darn good highs.

Hopefully that's just them dealing with the bumps and bruises of taking over a mid-way project.

Yeah, but Pizzaface is about as low as one can go. I mean low. I think I have seen porn with more substance in it.

To me the hate for that episode is greatly exaggerated. It's by far the goofiest episode in the series, and it no doubt clashed with the darker plotline that surrounded it, but I thought it had some genuinely funny moments.

I would consider it one of the 'lows' of the season, but the hate on it I've seen around here is almost drama-mongering.

Now that I think about it. That episode was similar to The Teen Titan's episode of when Beast Boy stop a evil tofu from ruling the world by eating it. Both of these episodes felt like it was written by a ten year old.

I'm disgusted by the thought that Mikey could eat a rat! That's why it's one of the worst episodes, if not the worst, I have ever seen, in the entire TMNT history. ALL OF IT. From the 80's, 2k3 and 2012.

It's funny cause that's the Nickelodeon Exec's favourite episode "By Far"!

Clearly Nick is run by 5 year olds...
