2013 TMNT Figures - Page 65

Hey everyone,

I just stopped at my locale Toys "R" Us (Brooklyn, New York) and unfortunately they didn't have Baxter Stockman, Leatherhead or Snakweed or for that matter Rocksteady and Bebop (the Classic Collection line).

I did however pick up DogPound, Fishface and Metalhead. They had one of each. I plan on keeping my figures MOC. They had a slew of Leonardos, Donatellos, Raphaels and Michelangelos (both from the basic line and Ooze series) and one Splinter. They also had a Shredder and Foot Solider, but the Foot Solider had red paint on his face and Shredder's bubble was starting to come off. I don't know how anybody (current) are finding these figures mint on card.

Someone has Leatherhead for auction up on ebaY. It's going for $9.49 (currently) but the bid is over in six days so the price is definitely going to go up. I figured if anyone wants to venture into trying to outbid everyone and buy him, be my guest. I apologize if someone already posted this. Just trying to help everyone on there search. Couldn't find Baxter or Snakweed on ebaY.

there is another auction that has both snakeweed and leatherhead (but no baxter) -- and free shipping.

i've no interest in these auctions though. waiting for them to hit amazon, target.com, tru.com... hell anywhere. Or my local retail stores... but i have very spotty luck there. i'll probably end up getting these online like usual. every time i go into a store the stuff I want is either BARE off the shelf or they only have what I (and usually, nobody else) wants

Going to toys r us is goddamn depressing. You see tons of dupes of certain figures and no sign of other stuff. People rip the place dry. I'm convinced that a good portion of the good stuff gets snatched up by scalpers and it infuriates me. If you are a collector you pretty much have to go a minimum of every-other-day or you can never find anything you want. I hate it.

Just curious what state are you in where you
found leatherhead? I'm in fL and Havnt found any
of the new figures yet.

I have the same problem with my sons splinter It never snapped in. Sucks cuz he plays with a tail-less splinter lol

They were 2 per case, BTW. SW and Baxter were only 1 per case.

Why are the cases so beat up for these figures? All of the pics that I have seen show them in bad condition.

Hopefully these are nationwide by the end of the week. They look so awesome. Very disappointed with leatherhead, as far as sculpt goes. Snakeweed and Baxter are awesome though!

Just got off the phone with someone at Target. When I asked if they had Leatherhead, he said no, and that he hasn't seen Baxter Stockman or Snakeweed either(without me mentioning them).

After calling 7 stores this morning, I finally located one that said they had them in stock. Not only that, but that they had SEVENTEEN of them. The lady on the phone sounded like she was very sure, so I made the journey out to the Target location. Absolutely nothing. I used my card on the scanner to read the info, it said they were located on aisle E17 and that there were none in the stockroom... I will be going out to some other locations tonight.

wow such a total disappointment!!! i feel for you.

that has never happened to me, but a few times I went to stores that I KNEW had stock in the back (because I had the target DCPI code and checked it on their site), but the manager would not let me buy them because they were holding them. So what is worse... being told they are there only to find out it was a mistake... or to KNOW they are there and be told you can't buy them... argh!!!

So I understand how frustrating it can be!

i'm looking for a solution to this also. tail comes off extremely easy for me. no problem with splinter though. if any one has thoughts id be grateful
