OMG! This is amazing. These may be the greatest figures to ever come out. Who can't be excited about these? Can't wait to see more.

Observations:
Ball joint hips - If you look closely at leo's left hip (as in from his pov) you can see a ball joint similar to marvel legends figures. Its well hidden which is awesome. He's got a tail! Points of articulation: Upper neck? Lower neck Shoulders x2 Bicep swivel x2 Elbow x2 Hip x2 Hip ball swivel x2 Knee x2 Ankle x2 Wrist x2 This puts him at like 18 poa. That's pretty great for a NECA toy. I can't wait for these I'm so excited! |

Doesn't seem like they fixed the neck like they said they would and the colors are a bit bright, but this is still without a doubt the best TMNT figure so far.

Anyway, in another thread, they posted pics of the Leonardo figure... with RED bandana. Now just the fact that they really are red bandana-ed really makes me drool. Finally, a decent comic line. A retro line based on the cartoons would be cool, but come on... A comic line is what I've been screaming for.

I have a few very very minor complaints, but this is definitely the greatest tmnt figure I have ever seen (: Now if we can only get those sculpts from the slightly later issues. Seeing this kinda hints at how ****ing great theyre gonna look!
I'm a little dissapointed to not see a weapons holster though. |

I'm thinking these threads should be merged, but I'll repeat myself one more time. Most beautiful tmnt figure I've ever seen, just wish it had weapon holsters.

Leo didn't have the cross shoulder and sheaths in his first appearance. Granted, I prefer the current Laird style of drawing the turtles.
Now it really comes down to articulation. |

If I ever get my hands on these, they will officially dethrone my SOTA Street Fighter Guile as my premiere conversation piece.

This looks very good considering that they were going for their first appearance look. I hope that they decide to do another series with their more refined look before too long(thinner legs, rounder/ less egg shaped bodies, and extra straps)

Hopefully there is somewhere you can stuff them in on the back of the belt, but it doesnt look like theres a sheath (if that's what they're called
I'll do the best I can to support this line, and definitely buy every figure that comes out of it.

I wish we could get a comparison shot of the turtles standing next to another fig. I'm just a tiny bit worried that the scale could possibly not turn out how we want it too.

I'm still amazed that we are getting TMNT figures from another company other than Playmates. NECA is the right company for this line, IMO.
For scale I would expect him to be 6" tall. |
