As for the store exclusives, nothing really stands out to me. So I guess I'll just go for the store that sells the movie the cheapest. Steelbook packaging is cool, but I've never been compelled to own steelbook packaging. I'd be more interested if they had an extra disc of special features, or even some kind of literature that would interest me.

This is more believable. For Amazing Spider-Man 2 is playing at the dollar theatres and is out on DVD and unless a movie is limited release or is a big bomb this is uusally the case having the film in the dollar theatre market while on fresh on the DVD market.

For a second, I thought it would list the Special Features, But I guess not, I wanna get the one with the Raph Statue, But I rather wait until I get an actual release date and a list of all the Special Features in it.

so Age of Extinction Drops on blu ray digitally September 16th and on BluRay September 30th.... when it came out June 27th....

Hopefully TMNT will take the same path.... and maybe we can get this in October/November

I could see a December release date. Marketing for the blu-ray/dvd release would make for a good Christmas gift.

Edit: According to this site http://blurayretailerexclusives.blog...tles-2014.html the RD is 12/9 which is a Tuesday so that might the date.

yeah i know but they had age of extinction marked at a date in october and then they officially announced the release for september... so maybe we can get TMNT a little earlier.....

Age of extinction being released in september means that it will be released a little earlier on. Should be very soon...the week after next week, or before that.

Dang! I know I'll get the steelbook with hopes of lots of bonus materials, extended directors cut and deleted scenes.
If the statue does look as good as it looks in the picture then I might buy an extra copy of the movie to get the awesome statue. $80 for a decent statue isn't a bad deal.
