Seriously just check twitter Lol it's filled with positivity all over the place heck tumblr too. Face book even. I think even on a lot of the site they are positive for the most part. Heck they firs rating on rt is pretty good

I've seen it twice and it got a applause both times. Personally I don't think it was applause worthy but the general public seems to like it.

How come everyone gives Marvel Studios props for fixing the whole Mandarian disrespectful fiasco in IM 3 AFTER the fact. Meanwhile PD's listens to fans, changes the title from Ninja Turtles back to TMNT, even though from a re-boot branding perspective the former makes more sense.

Then ontop of it they changed Shredder from a military general named Shraeder to Eric Sacks a white businessman weebo, back to the origin of the character who is a Japanese ninja master. All in time for the release of the actual movie yet people continue to give Bay, and PD complaints?

Such bias. Ever shifting hall pass for certain studios, and pdocution teams. While other ones get an overly critical eye, even when it makes little sense.

I don't even like Marvel films. I like some of the characters, but I find most of their films to be bland and boring.

I have been on board for this movie ever since the first trailer was released, I pretty much trusted everything they said and I was already aware about the fact that they do listen to fan critiques. This convinced me that there was a chance that the film might actually be good despite that most of the people involved in this film don't have the best track records. Yeah, that all changed up until I saw the film...

I don't think that gives them any more credibility than Marvel who have a strong foundation (unlike PD) and just simply build on top of that.

Bland, boring, formulaic. African American sidekick, bland / un-intimidating Power Ranger villains, too many jokes undercutting tension. See the exrtemely overrated GOTG for example. Yes, I agree with you.

Fun characters though: Robert Downey Jr., Drax are fun to watch ... even if their movies for the most part are MEH.

They already won me over ever since the trailers were released, so it wasn't difficult at all to get me to like this film in the first place.

Even if they were trying to please fans, they didn't have to sacrifice the whole plot of the movie for that very reason. I was one of those people who didn't even care if Shredder was white, all I was asking for was a great TMNT film.
And sadly I didn't get that.

I thought it was a good interview, And hes right about Superheroes sequels, Sometimes they try to do more of the same like the 1st one.

Hopefully with TMNT 2, They can focus more on the Turtles.

If he directs a sequel, hopefully he can prove me wrong.
But I doubt that's ever going to happen.

He lost all my respect after flat out lying about what really happened behind the scene of this movie. He's no different than bay.
