Next couple of episodes are looking sweet! We got the preview for Episode 4 which looks much better Episode 3 already, We have Episode 5 which will be The battle with Baxter Stockman (You know thats gonna be great) and finally my favorite: EPISODE 6 WITH METALHEAD! I can't wait for that.

Just to perhaps calm some nerves, over on the somethingawful forums there is a poster who does storyboard revision for this show. People in the thread for the show there were also worried about "mutant of the week" and he said it won't just be mutants every episode.

I set the dvr yesterday but saw that Nick was replaying episode 3 at 11. I really liked it and also enjoyed how it tied in with the IDW series in reference to Yoshi and Raph's tempers. I'm excited to see the previews for episode 4 when I watch it again on the dvr today! Sounds awesome. I think I am starting to get used to the CGI already too. I thought it might take a while but it hasn't. The stories so far have been really enjoyable too, so that helps!

I dunno why people are complaining. I thought this was an awesome episode, and as a fan of Lewis Black, I loved his work as the voice of Spider-Bytes!

I see no problem with begging if it leads to results. They obviously are holding back characters for Season 2 like Casey Jones, so it leads me to believe other fan favorites are going to return as well.

I understand wanting Rocksteady and Bebop to make a comeback, but at this point there really is no reason to beg for a Krang when we've already got an entire army of him. There're some things you just need to accept.

This episode was mostly filler and didn't impress me, but its far from the worst TMNT episode I've ever watched. The concept of Raphael being tempered with his brothers is nothing new and the jokes didn't seem that funny for the most part, except for the spider monster who made all of those frog jokes. The buildup to the battle with him was ok, but I was disappointed in the action. I do think Spike is cute though in that having a non-mutated pet Turtle is a nice original concept for this series.

I agree with others the whole mutant of the week is bland and uninspiring. Even the OT didn't do it and when they started doing it in S5 it did get repetitive by the end of the season. At least the OT mutants had personality the ones here so far are just as boring as the mutants we saw in 2k3, very generic.

Other than that the episode was good, the slow story arcs building will probably be great. I definitely see the Teen Titans influence and I love it. I love that the turtles have great personality traits and aren't just parodies of their traits like in 2k3.

Next episode looks awesome. Let's see if they can deliver "darker" episodes like Teen Titans could.
