I can't get sick of something that hasn't been focused on much. The triangle hasn't been, imo, but I did feel it was played up way too much for the recent ep to the point that both Donnie and Casey came across as OOC, but everything in this ep seemed to be over the top, so I can't help but wonder if that was the original intention.

Rob Paulsen has stated in an interview about season 2 that Donnie and Casey would have an Adversarial relationship. Both would admit the other boy is a good guy to know and helpful on missions and things. But when it comes to April they wish the other would dry up and blow away.

Wormquake only got rid of the general dislike between Casey and Donnie, not the rivaly.

Before Good, Bad, and Casey Jones...Donnie had been the only turtle who was aware of Casey. The others knew of his existence, but Donnie is the only one who was aware of him.

After Good, Bad, and Casey Jones There is more or less a general dislike between the two of them. While we never see anything directly said, Casey has more then likely visited the lair enough times to get some idea that Donnie has feelings for April. And that has probably come up in conversations with Raph.

So the general dislike is because they both of them know they have feelings for April and they don't like the idea of someone else being with their love interest.

In Wormquake Donnie has to put aside his dislike for Casey because after they are separated from Leo, Raph, and Mikey. Donnie becomes the leader of their little group because the safety of both April and Casey is his responsibility. And they are able to let go of their mutual dislike and gain more of a respect as friends.

I was so hoping Irma would finally meet the Turtles at the end, but sadly it didn't happen.

Me too. I hate the way they treat Irma in this show. Casey is an asshole, I really hate him. I liked him in previous incarnations but the Nick incarnation I just can't stand.

Same. This is a terrible interpretation of Casey's character.

They need to bring out his sister, so we can see the over protective older brother, it might be something his character really needs. So far, he just comes across as a guy who doesn't know how to act around females. April, he's possessive, and Irma, he obviously is back and forth with her. He may say stuff like he wishes she would get eaten up or something, but when they were stuck in that cage during the Rat King Returns, and she faints the first time, he instinctly reached and and broke her fall.

Well, it is Raph he's pushing away, the one brother he tends to be at odds with. And, to make matters worst, to give an idea on how he thinks of Raphael, he was panicking when they first meet Casey, and he goes "You know what this means, "THERE ARE NOW TWO RAPHAEL'S!"

But in wormquake, the whole thing with April yelling at Casey to stop it, and when she turns and sees the worm rubbing her butt, it makes me wonder if he's done this inappropriate action in the past. I can never see Donnie doing something like this.

well Donnie has been known to take pictures of her, create charts all about her, know exactly where she is during the day (like the park), and call her "Princess" and "my April"

so he might not be perverted....but he's still kinda creepy. XD

Again we have seen that picture Donnie at the park with April. Maybe that is a place they have felt was safe to hang out together topside. The Chart was list of scenario's where it would be possible for Donnie to hang out with April. If any thing that demonstrated Donnie is a strategist.

The princess and my April comments he has automatically apologized for hinting that he knew he had accidentally crossed a line that shouldn't have been crossed.

Donnie said either April was usually in the park at about that time studying or always studying. It makes sense for him to know that because he has a photo of both if them in the park. His brothers didn't react to his knowing of April being in the park...until he said "on a date" because that was something he wouldn't have known, and even then, it was an accident. He was walking, talking to himself and then saw them.

The chart thing showed that Donnie overthinks. The whole ep was about that, not just with April. He thought of scenarios as to how he can hang with her and make a good impression if the situations were to come up. I mean come on, the brothers didn't react to it. That chart also shows that he would be an excellent chess player. I wouldn't stand a chance against him. lol

The Princess and my April thing was there for pure embarrassment. When he said that my April/our April thing I cringed. lol

Just saw the episode, I liked it for the most part. Although, I still don't get why Ho Chan needed Irma to retain his physical appearance.

Interesting episode, I'm not sure I know quite all what just happened there yet lol (must catch a repeat), definitely a bit out of left field from episodes we left off with before it. Good to see Irma getting a little more of the story, but darn... no meeting yet. I love the first meetings. lol
