Looking forward to seeing how that unfolds. If Chompy was to ever become Tokka, that would be put off for a while. The show has been without a pet sidekick halfway through s4. Thing is, the mutated pet turtle has already been done and Chompy is alien and probably anthropomorphic in a later stage. Who knows how long infant stage is with his species.

Calling an enlarged Chompy Tokka as well is an assumed possibility in the Donkey Kong/Godzilla/Gamera sense. I think 'Toto' grew up to become the new Gamera IIRC.

Looks like a bandage but no I think that's a reflection of his devices on his hands.

There is actually a term for that, it's called imprinting. I'm not entirely sure about reptiles as many of them look after themselves from the moment they hatch. But yes, with birds such as ducks, geese, swans and maybe other species the first living beings they see within the first ten minutes of hatching they considered as a parent.

So it seems that Chompy has imprinted upon Raph and thinks of him as his mother.

Probably to stick with the theme of naming characters after famous artist, though I don't think he's a renaissance artist.

What character has there remained for chompy to change? Gamera? Born out of a thing, of an element rather than a regular animal out of flesh and blood, right? That's different. In general having a vine color to himself. Good. Could he be the next member of the team if he actually becomes humanoid, maybe wear a white mask?

And Warhol isn't famous enough or isn't an artist enough?? I don't get the point.

They clearly wanted an artist ending with "o"...

It seems Raph never heard of Giotto, Masaccio, Tiziano, Tintoretto... (if we want to stick with renaissance artist ending with "o")
