Being passionate about a cause you care about is commendable, esp if you're the one actually getting up off of your ass when many others are all talk and little else, but what is she really doing for it other than making a spectacle of herself over and over? So you tried to stop one meeting, what's that going to do? Cause oil companies to shut down?

By now she could have picked up millions of pounds of trash single handedly on the world's coastlines or replanted a whole forest herself. She could have helped wash wildlife in Dawn dish soap after an oil spill, but nah... she'd rather release all that unhelpful hot air she's so full of.

Regarding the topic at hand, I respect Thunberg for achieving a level of noteriety in the public consciousness that the vast majority of people will never get a glimpse of.

While I might not agree with every point she makes, she will go down in history as someone who ultimately stood up for what is a fundamentally noble cause, rather than people achieving notierity for things like lifestyles of debauchery. There is an evident triumph of her will.

Yes, she caught fire a few years ago but a large part of the western world has simply forgotten her nowadays, whist another part of the world would rather erase her from their history classes. I remember seeing her in the news back in 2019 and she comes off as a major brat. The snotty way she talks to adults and forces her climate agenda on others is ridiculous. I mean she's nothing but trouble and that's all she's going to be. She should of spent her childhood being a kid having fun, but no she wants to be a misfit.

Seriously, I can't stand activists (right or left wing) because of how they come off as: whinny, demanding, disruptive, loud and obnoxious. Some of activists, such as this Palestinian protest even blocks highway traffic, even here in Chicago.
