At least Mikey prove that he's just as competent a fighter as his brothers.

But other than that.... meh. Mikey wasn't really that funny. And really, why would the human who would become Pizza Face just eat something he found on the ground?

Yeah, this wasn't really a good episode. Not because it was silly. King of the Hill's A Firefighting We Will Go is a good example of a good, silly episode. This is was just bad silly episode.

I still wanna say it's only temporary.

I think they acknowledged it being this would be the first time his name would actually be credited in the role, despite doing several lines in the past, never getting the vocal credit for them.

Don't know and who knows.

Kinda wish Ciro was still around to break things like this. Unfortunate if true.

Loved this episode, I find the most comedy comes out of mikey stand alone eps like parasitical.
The animation was great too, lots of movie ref's which I loved.

I liked the animation of Mikey making pizza, but God this episode was awful. I know it's a kids' show and kids don't care, but continuity is good, character development is good... in my opinion. I don't like an episode that relies on the ick factor for its humour.

While he does say it's the worst of the season and fairly unoriginal, Max does state that it was incredibly funny and was clearly directed to TMNT's new younger audience.

First of all, I don't trust the opinion of someone who thinks something is "incredibly funny" and still doesn't rate it. Secondly by "TMNT's new younger audience," I assume he is referring to 99.9% of the audience, i.e. exactly the people that the show should be directed towards.

Oh I planned on that being my reaction, but I didn't want to go crazy.

Okay so first of all "he doesn't rate it" doesn't mean "he didn't give it a rating" where I come from. It means "he doesn't rate it as good." This is clearly a UK slang vs US slang thing.

But actually, this is my first time on IGN and no I didn't see the rating. Wanna know why?

I feel as if CyberCubed and I are the only ones who like this episode, but oh well. When will the next episode air? I'm looking forward to the one called The Wrath of Tiger Claw

This episode was much better than the Larp episode at any rate. That episode only had the fake Leatherhead scene going for it, this one was consistently funny.

Although it does make it obvious the mutagen turns people into whatever in this show with no logic. A guy mutated into a pizza makes that obvious.

This episode left a bit to be desired. I'm sad Pizza Face is Antonio, the guy seems to have a pizza chain all over New York in the show rather than something else like a pizza chef who can't cook or something. Human Pizza Face could have even resembled the 80s one minus some of the crazier deformities..

Also seeing recycled human Vic model as a pizza zombie was kinda weird... They could have recolored it or make the clothes look a little different...

I wouldn't say it's "no logic".

It's still based on the 80s cartoon with it being based on contact with most recent organism, but this show twisted it and took it a step further and made it the most recent thing period.

Which definitely opens the door in terms of creativity.

Wow. That was an interesting episode. I was worried that the pizza kid would turn into Pizza Face, but luckily it was the chef and not the kid. I loved the episode with the movie references and Mikey saying, "Go Ninja Go Ninja Go!" again. Also loved how he got the pizza from the storm drain, though I was waiting for the kid to go, "Where's 122 and an eight?" I don't know if it was really a dream or not, but I'm just going to go by the logic that it really happened in some form and that we'll be seeing Pizza Face again. Also loved seeing Irma and have a feeling she's going to meet the Turtles soon. Also loved Mikey's interrogation techniques and the fire reflected in his shades as well as the Triceratons reference. I wondered what was on the phone but couldn't see it properly for me to really look.

And the Leo replacement wasn't that bad, but I do hope it's only a temp thing as I think Jason does a good job as Leo and would hate to see him replaced permanently. Overall, a really good episode. Can't wait for the next one. See you in two weeks, guys.

I also laughed at the Mikey/Zombie April scene, April's drone voice gave me a Beast Boy/Raven vibe during that chat.

One thing that disappointed me about this episode is that at first Michelangelo was finally the hero for once, then it turned out to be a dream. Oh well.
