Found something disgustingly interesting...

There are some pics of Extreme Commando Turtles and Deep Divin' Turtles on the official website. Look under production pics. You'll see. I think they made new head sculpts for the turtles at least. I hope this isn't old news to you guys. I laughed at these figures at first. But I could almost cry when I think of how much wasted plastic is going to be molded into one of these horrid little child chokers!

A little preview of what you'll see...

I suppose this sort of thing is for the kids, but every time I go out Turtle-hunting, I notice that the pegs are full of more unsold "Extreme Sports" figures than any anything else. I mean, kids dig the TMNT because of the show and the games - I'd think that more relevant releases would catch their interest more than a 'Donatello in bright spandex for some reason' figure.

I haven't been able to find any supporting character or villain figures in ages, around here. It's all Turtles and Turtle variants. The last non-Turtle figure I found was an Elite Guard, many months ago. I dunno, seems like those figures are short-packed and selling quickly, while the goofy Turtle variants are being largely ignored, at least where I live...

It's like that where I live, too. The only figs I see are the Extreme TMNT, the Space Hoppin' TMNT, the Mutation TMNT, or the regular TMNT. Every now and then I'll see a Foot Soldier or a Casey Jones. Sometimes I'll find a Razorfist or a Giant Mouser, but that's rare.

That sucks.

Too many turtles spoil the soup.

yeah its like that for me when the new waves come out, but now last wave has took over the shelves. all I can see is turtlebot, turtle titan, space tmnt, and stonebitter. elite foot and armorized shredder are plentiful too. I just hope they take a back seat in a few weeks when the new figures come out. the deep diving figures look cool. a very good variant. I dont even have the shell sub though so Im not shure i would buy them.
