Little know-it-alls.

I think its funny if some kid who likes the turtles think they know tons about them. Like there is this one kid who said he konows everything and I ask "who did raphs voice in the older show?" (very hard question.) Just as a test, I didnt know the answer but hey just wanted to see. Anyway he put on a funny facea and said "Old Show?" I started to laugh pretty hard. Has anyone else had some smart ass say they know everthing but they dont know jack.

Yeah I had this happen once. I was in Toy Rus and some kid said "Hey your to old to play with toys and its not fair that you get the kast Mikey" so I told him to tell me who Bebop and Rocksteady were and then he could have the toy. He says "That sa trick question! There is no Bebop and Rocksteady in Ninja Turtles" I said go watch the old show or read the archie comics you might learn something. It was funny

Oddly enough.... I don't make it a habbit to discuss Ninja Turtles with children. Thus, I can't say I've had any experiences like that.

I wouldn't. Whoever finds it first gets it, right?

Good to know that the kiddies are into TMNT again, though. I'm glad that the new show is catching on so well. In ten years or so, they'll be the ones thinking back fondly about the Utroms and Fugitoid and Leatherhead, while only the old fogies will remember the likes of Bebop and Rocksteady.

I've never ran into a kid like that, but I used to be like that. Some kid (about 14 at the time) asked me if I knew who the utroms were and of course I was 5 and said yes and he asked me what they looked like I said they they were fat ninja aliens that the turtles beat up.

Hey, when I WAS a kid, I'd use knowledge of the Mirage comics in much the same way. Now, you Old-tooners are in on the fun!

Agreed. I still think it's funny when my mother comes downstairs and asks what I'm doing. When I say "Watching the Ninja Turtles" she says "STILL??"

It's good to have them back, but I can't say I don't miss the old show. Those little kids don't know what they're missing.

I'm always going on about the TMNT. I once ran into Kay Bee where I found some giant Michaelangelos they were selling from the re-release of the original toyline and I told this kid how much I love Ninja Turtles. Only he chose to go for some of those Diggimon characters or whatever.
My high school pals always get a kick out of it when I talk about TMNT, and my pals at college like to call me the "foremost authority on a subject noone else cares about!"

It's cool sometimes when you meet little kids at Wal-Mart or wherever looking at TMNT stuff. I saw this kid with an Elite soldier, and I thought that was pretty awesome.

You know what's even better? When they watch you play the video game demos. And their eyes are like . Then they ask, "Can I play?", and so you let them go play it. That's fun.

Gotta love the cute ones!
